"Scalsi. Good boy." I murmur gently, rubbing my fingertips over his thick scales. His beady eyes narrowed to a dangerous amount as his long, snake like body swings, or thrashes in the shallow water. Large tidal waves expanding out and crashing onto the sand and cliffs up and down the beach. "Calm down. You're causing a ruckus for the other vacationers."
He raises his head and releases a roar of anger. Screams echoing around us as I roll my eyes. "Scalsi. Behave." I command, curling my finger, forcing him to lower back down to my height. "It's not often I can allow you out because even though you are strong, nor is it due to lack of water. It's because scaring others is a habit, even though you're a softie on the inside."
"Humans are naturally scared." He responds, his eyes still not on me. Heaving a sigh, I glance over my shoulder to see Sting, and Rogue speaking with the villa's land owners. Two... unconscious people at their feet. Scalsi, with much consideration, didn't sink his teeth into them...
Well... Not too far. He just flung them about... A lot.
The whole beach was cleared within seconds. He isn't that terrifying is he?
"I'm sorry, Revelli-sama." He apologises, my eyes lowering as I feel a tug at my bare legs. Frosche glancing up at me with widened eyes before I hoist her up, extending her out, allowing her to rub her paws against his scales. Violet landing on my shoulder, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Well, the owners aren't looking happy. I mean..." Violet mutters, trailing off and glancing around the beach, the sand uneven in every direction, relaxing equipment and belongings of the people who've fled. "You really went all out for some pathetic bandits. However..." She growls. "They did hard Lector and Frosche."
I grit my teeth together. "Scalsi. Stay, don't make any more mess." Violet leaping off my shoulder and grabbing Frosche, keeping her stable as she smiles, giggles and hugs Scalsi tightly – her small body only able to hug a few scales – one to be precise.
My eyes gaze among the different members of Sabertooth who are continuing on the day, trying to ignore the large animal in the water, and the fact no magic-less humans are on the beach besides the resorts' owner. "Excuse me, Sir, madam." I speak, using a gentle tone towards the husband and wife who look at me with fearsome glances.
"I can assure you, if I didn't act the way I did, hostages would've been taken and precious items would've been stolen." I murmur softly, Glancing over and motioning towards Scalsi. "He may look scary to some who aren't used to him, but he is completely tame."
"You just cleared our resort within seconds, don't you have any other means of getting rid of bandits!?" The female yells. Wow, she's got a good pair of lungs... "We have bills to pay you'know?! Now you've just scared off all the holiday campers. All because of that beast."
Beast? She dares...
I can feel Scalsi react from the yelling, but I raise my hand and halt him. "And I have over four years' worth of jewels in which has been from hundreds of S class missions." I reply swiftly, not seeming to give her much interest as I turn back to her husband.
Stepping forward, I feel a hand grab my upper arm, my eyes glancing to Sting who shakes his head, but I shrug the hold off – but don't stay back. "But listen to me," I watch Rogue smack Stings' shoulder, grumbling under his breath. My voice lowering into a menacing tone – eyes narrowing.
