Picture of Gabrielle Grayson ⬆

The house was completely silent fear and sadness filling the atmosphere. The group sat downstairs in the living room, everyone in their own thoughts, thinking about their families and if they were okay. Had they got out of town, or did they die trying?

After seeing Nia's parents, they could only assume the worse.

Dustin let out a sigh, peeking through the window curtains. The sun was setting and the town was bascially empty, the only thing that filled the street were the walking dead corpses. The group left Nia and Gabrielle upstairs to mourn hours ago, and they still hadn't come down yet.

They had to barricade the doors and close the windows because people were beginning to loot empty houses. The group even witnessed some people killing each from looting.

Like zombies weren't enough trouble, people just kill each other. Its so sick to know that even in disasters like this, people are just menacing, selfish pricks.

At a time where we should be helping one another, we kill and fight one another.

Dustin turned around, gazing at everyone in the room. The twins, Otis and Owen were sitting against the wall, with their legs spread out. Owen had his head in his knees while Otis leaned the back of his head on the wall.

Victoria was standing with her shoulder leaning on the wall beside them.

Regina sat in Nia's Father's recliner chair. Her legs crossed were crossed over the other and her arms were also crossed over her chest.

Last was Tina and Elliot, sitting in the corner, on the floor. Elliot was leaning his head on Tina's shoulder, while she ran her fingers through the frazzled boy's hair. It's been a long day for him, and this was the longest he's been without his medication. Luckily Tina's been able to keep him at ease.

After gazing at everyone, Dustin looked right back at the blonde who still wasn't talking to him. Blondie looked at him before rolling her eyes.

He hated when he was mad at her. Despite his actions, the jock loved his cheerleader. "Can we talk?" He asked her, stepping away from the window.

Regina pulled the lever of the recliner, laying back and crossing her ankles over the other comfortably. "I'm good."

"Come on, Gina, don't be like that. Just hear me out." He begged.

"Hear you out?" She scoffed. "You're lucky I'm talking to you right now."

"I think you're the one that's lucky." Interjected Victoria, scratching her head.

Dustin sighed. "Come on, Vicky. Not now."

"Ooo, nicknames bases." Smirked Otis. "Some one's closer than we thought."

"I'm just saying." Victoria put her hands up in surrender. "The guy can have anyone that he wants, yet he's trying to make things right. You're lucky. Another guy would have dropped you with no problem."

Regina stood, after pushing the recliner back in its original position. "That's where you wrong." She began to walk over to Victoria but got stopped by Dustin. "I am not the lucky one, he is the lucky one. Dustin and I have history, he is the one lucky to have me. But you wouldn't know that because you have no sense of worth."

Blondie continually tried to attack her, but Dustin was holding her back.

Tina shook her head at the immaturity. "Can you guys quit it? This isn't the time."

"Tina is right." Said Owen lifting his head, from his knees. "This is dumb, just shut up."

Regina pushed Dustin away from her. "No, Dustin wanted to talk. Let's talk."
