Dan ran, once more, back the way he came, dragging Phil with him. They were weaving through the now filled building, dodging guards and jumping ticket machines. They remembered when they used their Oyster cards for those machines, and were able to walk freely. Now, they were being hunted by the Law.
Bursting through the back door, Dan began breathing faster and faster, feeling a panic attack wash over him, with its familiar gut-wrenching hug.
However, with some sweet and haste words from Phil, they were up and running again, into the woods, twisting and turning, hoping for a miracle. Nothing happened, so they kept going through the inky blackness.
No, no miracles today, for God was sleeping, and the soldiers were awake. Awake, and swarming the forest the two Criminals were in.
They were caught, and restrained like brutal animals would be held back in cages.
Surrounded by armed men, and the never ending sky, Dan cried, because this was all his fault, all his stupid, stupid fault. He never wanted to drag Phil into this, only wanted to be happy.
Two needles were produced, ready to send them into sleep. Screaming apologies for the black haired, pale boy, Dans vision went back as Phil's did too.
