As I slung my, may I say, heavy leather bag over my shoulder, I pushed the school doors open and headed in. I didn't really get noticed at school, I was always just known as Mikes little sister, and to be honest, I'm okay with that. I don't like attention, completely opposite from Mike, he loves attention, and there's nothing wrong with it, but I just feel like if you get a lot of attention, it also means a lot of unwanted comments will probably be said behind your back, which I definitely did not want.

I rounded a corner, and started my way down the hall with my head hung low. Lucky me, I ended up bumping right into someone.

"Oh, sorry!" I apologized, while quickly grabbing my stuff off the floor, without even looking up to see who it was I bumped into. They were probably long gone, anyways. Because 'Mikes little sister' is always invisible. I don't get bullied, thankfully, I never really have, but I think that's just because people are too scared Mike will go after them. Which pissed me off, I don't need a body guard, I am perfectly fine by myself. I took korat-

"BELLA!" someone screamed. I looked up to find Nate looking down at me, with a slight smirk on his perfect face. Wait what did I just say!? I'm must've bumped into him pretty hard to just think that. I look up at him, shaking my head slightly, as to say 'yes?' with as much as attitude I could muster. I was so not in the mood for his shit. When did Nate, or any of my brothers friends, for the matter even care to talk to me. Yeah, sure they would flirt every so often when they were over, but never at school, no no, that would ruin their perfect reputation.

"You bumped into me for my attention, no? So what do you need?" wait, is he joking? He thinks I bumped into him on purpose. This almost made me laugh, almost. My pissed mood overpowered that feeling though.

"Me, want your attention? No thank you. Now, with your permission, may I leave now?" I asked, sarcasm literally dripping from my voice.

"Oh, someones on their period," he said, his smirk growing even more. This comment especially ticked me off, because I was on my period. I was craving chocolate, and I wanted to just punch him right then, and there.

"Unbelievable" I stated, pushing past him, and quickly walking the rest of the way to my locker. The fricken nerve of that boy, I was honestly this close to punching him square in the jaw. Honestly don't ask a girl if she's on her period. Because in the odd chance that she might be, you will piss her the hell off. And that's what he just did to me. Unless you physically see me opening a pad/tampon, don't just assume I'm on my period, because tonight, I will just assume you're dead, and burry you in the backyard.

I grabbed my math binder and textbook and slammed my locker, a bit to roughly.

"Wow, someones mad! You alright?" JC's asked me, with a curious, yet amused expression on her face. And at that moment, I completely forgot about Nate, and my period, and just grinned from ear to ear. I reached forward and bear hugged her.

"Oh my god, why are you here?" I asked her, pulling away, with my hands grabbing onto her shoulders. JC went to a different school, on the other side of town. Which sucked, we used to go to the same elementary school, but when it was time for high school, she wanted to go to an arts school, so that's why she didn't come to Roosevelt High, like me.

"I transferred," she said, grinning back.

"Really! Why?" I questioned, shifting my books from one side to the other.

"I finished all my art courses, so I wanted to spend that last two years of high school with my elementary bestie!" she said, I missed her lovely British accent.

"That's great, what's your first period?" I asked, silently hoping it was math.

"Math," she answered.
