Stuck Inbetween: Chapter 1

Chapter One

Well, I called practicly everyone on my contact list and all of them were busy so I guess I'll have to stay home tonight and lock myself up in my room. I walked out my room and into my houses long hallway. I have a large home, but its always so lonely with only my brother, Mike and I. Mike is 6'2 and has dirty blonde hair, he's very musculer, with a six pack and everything, he's what all my friends say is 'hot', personally I think thats gross. My brother's a total player and our whole damn school is full of them. Unfrotionatly all of them are friends with Mike and that's one reason why I don't want to be home tonight. 

I myself am conpletely different, I'm a blonde... but I am very smart, I have ocean blue eyes and im 5'4, yes it's a bit short for a 17 year old but oh well, Mike is only one year older then me, but he still towers over me. All my friends say I'm pretty but I dont think so. Anyways all my brothers friends are always flirting with me and I hate that. I know for a fact none of them actually like me, it's all just a gamer to them, becuase I'm basically the only pure girl left in our school.

I was walking down the hall to my brothers room and when I got in, he was playing video games.

"Mike, what time are your friends coming?", I asked.

"Any moment now", he said, eyes still glued to his flat screen tv. I sighed and headed back to my room, the second I closed my door I heard the door bell faintly ring downstairs.

I leaped onto my bed, as I heard faint grettings. I sighed for no reason and took out my phone.Two seconds later my stomach growled.I groaned in frustration as I got up and headed out my room. I peeked over the stair balcony and saw them at the door. I thought this would be a great chance to run to the kitchien.

I started tiptoeing down the stairs before sprinting to the kichien. When I got to the kichien I opened the fridge and looked inside.

I dicided on left over pizza. I put it in the microwave, and a minite later I grabbed a coke and started heading back upstairs.

"Hey Bella, why don't you watch the movie with us?", Mike asked. I gave him a look that said no thanks, but he was oblivious.

"Ummm...no thanks I think I'll pass this one, I've already seen that movie," I said, I'm so stupid I don't even know the movie yet.

"You don't even know the movie yet", Mike spoke my thoughts. I looked around and I saw Nate with a smirk on his face.

"Ummm... Okay I guess", I started walking towards them, when  I saw Nate move over, implying that I sit next to him. Not happening. I gave him a are-you-kidding-me look and walked passed him, and sat next to Riley and Mike. Nates smirk fell off his face, as it was my turn to smirk.

"Okay...what movie do you guys wanna watch? Either Paranormal Activity or Saw?" Mike asked. My eyes popped out of there sockets.

"I think I should pass, I hate and am so scared of horror movies", I panicked.

"It's okay Bella I'll comfort you", Josh said sweetly. I smiled warmly at him and leaned back on the soft couch.

"Okay, so which one?", Mike asked, annoyed, while waving the two discs in the air.

"Saw", Dawson said. I groaned, I will not sleep for days.

Mike nodded as he inserted the disc, the movie began and just by my luck, it started raining outside, like storming I should say.That just made the movie 10 times more scarier than it already was. Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, the fricken power went out.

"Ugh, are you serious? We just started watching", Dawson complained. I giggled a little at his tempor and even though it was dark I knew they were all looking at me.
