Stuck Inbetween: Chapter 4

When we got to the mall, we all got out of the car and headed towards one of the entrance. 

"Ah, the mall, my second home!", Lily said, inhaling sharply.

"Umm, okay? So where do you guys want to go first?", I asked completely ignoring Lily's weird comment on the mall.

"Oh, oh can we go to Victoria Secret? Please!!!", Kim begged.

"Ya, I need a new bra!", Lily added.

"You guys can go, I hate Victoria Secret, everything is pink, it hurts my eyes!", I said with a disgusted look on my face.

"Besides, it would be a great time for you to get to know each other.", I said hoping they would agree, I really didn't want to go in there.

"Fine!", they sighed.

"Thanks! I'll just be in Indigo, meet me there when your done", I said.

"Okay, bye!", they chirped.

I walked into Indigo, I love books. It's like when I get lost in a book I feel like I'm in it, it's just such a good feeling, well except for when I was reading The Hunger Games series, that was just freaky to be in, and not to mention scary. I walked to the romance section of the store. I love that genre. I looked and saw a lot of books I've already read, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, The Hunger Games, Pretty Little Liars, Vampi-. My thoughts got interrupted when I heard a voice call my name.

"Bella!", the voice said. I turned around to face, the one and only...Nate. Aren't I so lucky.

"Oh, hey!", I said sounding oddly bored.

"Whats up, why the long face?", he teased.

"Nate, if theres a reason why you're bothering me, can you please get to the point?", I asked him. He was really annoying sometimes, no wait...all the time.

"No, there isn't a point unless you want there to be!", oh the nerve of this boy.

"Nate, we all know you're a good-for-nothing player, so just so we're clear I don't want to go out with you", I said firmly.

"Who said I want to go out with you?", he said smirking. My checks flamed as I just completely embarrassed myself.

"Aw, you're so cute when your embarrassed!", he said while pinching my cheeks. I turned more red, and I could practically feel my face as red as a tomato. Okay, I know I don't like Nate and all but he's so hot and dreamy. But I would never tell him that to his face that would just blow up his ego even more. We wouldn't want his head to blow off now, would we?.

"Ugh, Nate just leave me alone!", I demanded. But really I didn't want him to leave me alone. I love his presence. Wow, Wow, Bella where did that come from, you were hating him a minute ago, what happened? my sensible side asked me. Well his ocean blue eyes are just dreamy and the 8 pack I see through his shirt, OH MY! Okay, I am talking to myself way to much now, I should really not do that, because maybe, once I would just bl-

"BELLA, BELLA! Hello!", Nate's voice boomed.

"Huh, what?", I asked, coming back to reality.

"You zoned out while staring at my perfectly god sculpted body.", he said while smirking even more. Yup, his ego is way to big, let me try and make it a bit smaller.

"Don't flatter yourself", I said while turning around to look back at the books.

"Why not? I know you like me and my body!", he said. He stepped closer and me being....well me I quickly took a step back.

"I don't l-like you.", I managed to say. He took a step closer.

"Aw am I making poor innocent Bella get all flustered?", he questioned. I took a step back and I knew one more step back, and my back would hit the book shelf.
