Stuck Inbetween: Chapter 6

We had one more turn and we would be at Lilys house. The Louis thing didn't come up anymore after I told them I'd tell them about it later on, thank god.

"Well, when we get to my place, the first thing I wanna do is order pizza, I'm starving", Lily states. I totally agree.

"Ya, definatly", Kim speaks. We pull up to Lilys driveway and I get out of the car. We head to the front door and Lily reaches into her pocket to get her keys out.

"Where are my keys?", Lily says, now looking into her purse.

"Whatever, lets just ring the doorbell", Kim says a bit annoyed.

No answer...no answer...no answer. Ten minutes later we still hadn't got in and Kim was over there pressing the doorbell like a maniac.

"KIM, STOP YOUR GOING TO BREAK IT", Lily finally says.

"Okay, you guys I think you might've like, I dont know, left it somewhere near my house, let's just go back and see", I suggest.

"But the boys", Kim reminds..

"We'll have to sneak in, because I know you gave me a spare to your house in case of an emergency, but its all the way up in my room", I say.

"Well, let's get going then, because when Kim doesn't get her food, she becomes a cranky devil", Lily states the ovious, while walking back to my car.

"HEY, THAT'S NOT TRUE", Kim screams.

"Sorry, Kim, but you just proved it is", I state now following Lilys lead to the car, leaving Kim standing by the portch with a frown on her face.

"Whatever, lets just go get the stupid keys", Kim says while stomping over to the car as well. We got into the car and headed back to my house. When my phone started ringing. I looked at the ID number....It was dad, I pressed decline, and shoved my iPhone back into my pocket.

"Who was that?", Lily asks curiously.

"My dad", I say bluntly.

"You know, you can't ignore him forever, he is yout father after all", she says matter-of-factly. I pull up to my driveway, ignoring her comment. I really don't think it's any of her buisiness. She's one to talk, she hasn't talked to her father in years. I mean, I know she has a point, but she's being such a hypricate.

I audomaticlly notice all of Mikes' friends cars when we pull up to my driveway. I walk over to the door, and notice the girls were also coming.

"You know, you guys don't have to come, the whole sneaking around thing will be a bit difficult with all three of us", I say while standing by the portch.

"Okay, fine, but don't take too long, I'm hungry", Kim says.

"I'll be right out", I say as I take out my own keys to open the door. I open the door and step in, I make sure not to take my shoes off, because then the boys might see. I tiptoe to the stairs and hear all the boys in Mikes room. I then take my phone out to make sure its on vibrate this time. I tiptoe pass Mikes room, and over hear a little conversation. I know it's wrong to easedrop, but I'm a curious girl, and whatever they are talking about, probably isn't that important.

I hear Nate say "I'm just saying I think you should be a little more protective of Bella, she's and hot chick, and a lot of dudes are hitting on her", oh my god, Nate as if you don't take care of me enough.

"Ya, she is hot", Louis says. Wow, Shocking.

"I appreiciate the advise Nate, but my sister can take care of herself without my help ", Mike says. THANK YOU. And then I haer the rest of the boys all rambling on together. I then keep on tiptoeing along to my room. I open my door and step into my room, the second I close my door, I hear the boys opening their door room. I grab the keys when I see my doornob moving. I panic and jump right into my laundry basket.

And then I hear the door open.....

And someone walks in....

I look through the holes of my laundry bin, but I don't see much because something was infront of it. I hear the creaking of my door and I know that whoever it is came into my room. Than I hear footsteps, but not very close to me, so I know there probably on the other side of my room.

"LOUIS HAVE YOU FOOUND THE CHIPS YET", Nate screams. So I know its not Nate.

"Umm, ya coming", I hear Louis say, fairly close, He must be the one in my room, but why? I think to myself. I than hear the sounds of footsteps, and my door quietly closing. Once I make sure no one is in my room anymore, I get out of the laundry basket and look around my room. 

Nothing. Nothing was different. What was Louis doing in my room? Did he take anything? I than feel my phone vibrating in my pocket.  I take my phone out and look at the ID number, its Kim.

"Hello?", I answer in a whisper.

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU, DO YOU KNOW HOW BAD LILY AND I HAVE BEEN FREAKING OUT", she shouted into the phone so loud I had to literaly pull the phone away from my ear.

"I'm sorry okay, something came up, I'll be out in a second", I once again anwer in a whisper. I quickly hang up, and walk towards my door. I open it and it makes a screeching noise, but the sound was drowned out by the loud noises the boys we're making. I once again tiptoed passed Mikes room, down the stairs and towards the door. I already had my shoes on so I just opened the door, and steped out. The second I steped out I let out a breathe of relief, that I didn't know I was holding. I see Lily and Kim by my car both pacing bak and forth.

"Guys, Im here", I say, taking the keys out of my pocket and dangling it in the air. They both turn around, the second they see me, their faces suddenly flashing with relief. And I know what your thinking, why are you guys making such a big deal, oh trust me it's a huge deal. If they saw me I would've been stuck in that house for the rest of the night, and I would've had to talk to Louis, which I am not planning on doing for a very, very long time.

"Oh my gosh, what took you so long?", Lily screeches. 

"Well, let's get in the car and I'll tell you", I say making my way to the car.

"Well, I hope nothing bad happened", Kim says, mumbling to herself. Once we all got into the car, I made sure I had my phone, and Lilys keys. I hand the keys over to Lily, and start the car with my own keys.

"Okay, so what happened?", Kim asked eagerly.

"Well, I was in my room, and I grabbed your keys", I say looking at Lily, "then, I was on my way out when, I saw someone was coming into my room, so I quickly jump into my laundry basket, and it turns out Louis was in my room, but I don't know why", I say, with my eyes on the road.

"Well, are you sure he didnt, I dont know take anything", Lily, says.

"Yeah, I'm sure, I looked and nothing was gone, and if he did take anything that was in a drawer, or anything hidden, it would've made more noise, and he barely made any noise", I state. But then it hits me, like a ton of bricks. He probably took my journal, that's the only thing that I keep hidden on my bookshelf, mixing with all my books. I didn't check, but why would he want my journal. The thought lingered in my mind, but I pushed it aside and forced myself to have a good time tonight.

"Well, why don't we go home, eat some pizza, and talk more about it", Kim says, sounding more hungry and annoyed than before.
