Him
Four Fluffy Months Later
I smiled as I grabbed Penney's hand and walked out the front door. I couldn't help but shake the feeling that Harlow was mine; all mine.
I couldn't imagine Harlow with anybody else; I just really, really liked her.
And today, March 23, Harlow's birthday, was the day that I was going to tell Harlow that I loved her. That I was in love with her. I could imagine her feeling the same.
"Frankie," Penney spoke up.
"Yeah, Pen?" I looked down and smiled. I sure was in a good mood today.
"Is today Harlow's birthday?"
I grinned as wide as I possibly could and nodded. Penney kicked a stone and sighed.
"You're in love with her, aren't you?"
I nearly tripped over my own converse. "Uh...Y-yeah."
"You still love me too, though, right?" I could practically feel the fear in Penney's voice.
I stopped and knelt down next to her. I cupped her small face in my hands and mad eher look me in the eyes. "Forever and always. Nobody will ever replace you in my heart."
Penney smiled hugely and wrapped her arms around my neck in a big bear hug. "Good." She said softly, her face buried in my neck. "I love you, Frankie."
"I love you, Pen."
Once I got to school, I saw Harlow immediately. She was leaned up against the wall next to my locker, tapping her nails on the side of her upper thigh. I had the perfect gift for her; a Misfits CD.
"Frankie!" Harlow yelled, running into my open arms. Everyone around us groaned as I kissed her softly. "I missed you." She said quietly, pulling her lips away from mine with a loud smack. It'd been a long weekend, and there was a hailstorm on Friday that'd cancelled school. I had really missed Harlow.
"I missed you too." She nuzzled her face into my neck and I smiled as we hugged. It'd only been four days, but it had been four days too long.
Harlow sighed and pulled away. "I have to go to Math." She feigned hurt and hugged me one last time before bounding off to class.
I thought about Harlow all day, about how I was going to profess my love for her, about her facial expression when she would (most likely) reject me.
At final bell, I texted Harlow and asked her to meet me out by the back of the school where we usually hung out and smoked. She replied with a simple "Okie dokey <3"
I walked around to the back of the school and smiled to myself. This was going to be perfect.
Well, at least that's what I thought until I walked around the corner and saw Harlow kissing Andrew Petticone.

I know this part was short, but I'm posting a continuation of this part tonight as well, so don't worry.
