The next day Fred, George and Harry were sat on the gryffindor common room,
Hermione came running in with the day's daily prophet
"You are NOT gonna believe this!" She exclaimed as if she would explode if she didn't release her inner gossip
"Oh I think I can guess..." Harry sighed

Hermione passed him the news paper and he read the headline
"Death eaters strike down man, outside Hogwarts school...."
"Wow Hermione that's awful" Harry lied
"Isn't it?, you know they're coming for you, you need to be careful Harry" She was worried about her friend. She turned and went into the girls dormitory

"He did it, he actually took the blame away from you" Harry smiled at Fred
Fred sighed with relief, "No Azkaban for you brother!" George tried to high five his twin
"I need to get to class, see you later" he said ignoring his brother he just grabbed his book bag and left.

"What? We always go to class together? What's his problem he should be happy" George frowned
"You think he's finding it easy to live with, knowing we're all telling lies? You think the guilt isn't eating him alive? Really?" Harry was annoyed by George
"But the guy deserved it!" George complained
"That's not really the point, mate" Harry smiled, and they both headed to potions"

Once they got to potions they took their usual seats, class went by slowly as usual
Although Severus wasn't being so horrid today, he wasn't particularly nice either
He just looked as if he couldn't care less
After class as everybody left the classroom, Severus stopped Fred
"A word, if I may"

Fred followed Severus back into the classroom and waited for Severus to speak
Suddenly Severus threw his arms around the boy and hugged him
Fred was rather shocked by this and stood frozen slowly tapping Severus on his back
"Thank you for what you did, you saved Mya and I owe you forever, if you ever need anything you just ask" Fred didn't know what to say

"Thanks Professor Snape, but I only did what anyone else would do, and to be honest I feel sick with guilt"
"No, you didn't do anything wrong, you have proven how much you care for Mya, you were incredibly brave, and believe me I never thought I'd see a brave Weasley, you have gained my full respect young man" Severus offered his hand to the boy and he took it shaking it firmly

"And you may call me Severus by the way" Severus gave a small half smile
It was more of a smiley smirk.
"Well go on, get out!" Severus said clearing his throat and returning to his usual cold demeanour
"Bye" Fred smiled awkwardly, he couldn't get out the room fast enough

"What the bloody hell was that?" The boy asked himself.
