"Daddy, daddy! Look! It's Iron Man!" Younger me yelled as I pointed up at the sky. "I see him Munchkin, why don't you go say 'Hi'?" He asked me. My face lit up. "Really?" "Yes, go say 'Hi'." With that, I ran over to where Iron Man landed.
I wasn't paying attention to where I was going at the time, and I ran straight into Iron Man himself. "Whoa there kiddo, that was some hit, you alright?" I smiled at the hero. "Y-yes, I'm alright. I-I was just so excited to see you, I guess I wasn't paying attention. S-sorry." I squeaked out.
He let out a chuckle. "No nee-," he was cut off by a scream. Iron Man quickly stepped back into his suit and went to see what was happening. I followed in suit, trying to keep up.
When we got to where the scream came from, I screamed myself. My dad was shot through the heart. "DADDY! DADDY GET UP! PLEASE! Please get up, I need you." I cryed, running over to him, not even caring about the blood. "Daddy, please get up." I felt someone slowly pull me away from him. "Come on kiddo, you shouldn't have to see this." "NO! I CAN'T LEAVE HIM! I have no one else." I whisper the last part. I was picked up, and carried to an ambulance.
After I got cleaned up a bit, Mr. Stark came up to me. "Hey kiddo, how you holding up?" I didn't answer, I only looked at the ground. "Come on kiddo, we just need at ask a few questions and we'll call someone to pick you up." I looked up at him. "I don't have anyone else. He was my last of my family." "Oh, well, you can stay at Avenger Tower with the rest of The Avengers." "O-ok. Can we get my clothes and stuff from my home?" "Of course kiddo."
