our heads immediately turned to the door.

sydney looked at me.

" i'll check." she said.

i just nodded my head.

she walked over to the door and bent down , and lifted the curtain to the window right near here.

she looked mad and looked over at me as she mouther, " it's chandler "

i sighed and shook my head.

she nodded and tip toes back to me.

soon the knocking turned into banging and we just decided to go upstairs into my parents room, whom haven't returned.

we kind of ignored what i admitted to her just moments before and watched tv in silence.

the banging stopped after a couple more minutes. 

we quietly walked back downstairs and peeked out the window.

no car was there.  no one was.

              NEXT DAY.

i woke up with sydney sleeping next to me. thank god she slept over.

i removed the bedsheets slowly trying not to wake sydney up.

i walked downstairs into the kitchen into where i left my phone yesterday.

i walked into the kitchen where i saw my mom.

she was in her work clothes and was in the refrigerator.

she turned around and smiled at me.

" good morning. " she smiled.

i rubbed my tired eyes.

" what time is it? " i asked with a sore voice.

she grabbed a juice and he her wrist to her face.

" its uhh,  " she said quitting her eyes.

" 6:30, " she said as she kicked the door closed.

she set the juice out he counter.  " why are you up so early? "

" uh.. me and sydney slept at like 7 pm last night. " i answered.

" oh sydneys up there? " she asked twisting the cap on her juice.

i nodded my head.

she took a big gulp and twisted the cap back on.

" tell her i said hi, oh and sweetie, last time you left your homework here.  don't forget. "

i smiled and nodded.

she began walking.

" have a good day at school today,  love you! " she said walking out the door.

i sighed and found my phone.

i picked it up and there was so many texts from chandler.
