I woke up the next morning refreshed but still cold due to my long exposer of the snow. I gathered my things and walked down stairs. I couldn't stay here due to the fact that there might be an up and coming search for the infamous Rosette Portsburg. Before I left town I stopped by an old merchant with very little items. The merchant had had a cloak for sale for it was slightly tattered but could be fixed. I was in need of this cloak for two reasons, to shield me from natures seasons and to hide myself. When I ran away I had only grabbed the little money I could grab to support myself while I hid. I asked the merchant how much he wanted for it. he said "Well you sure do need it, you might as we'll take it for nothing." I told him I would pay for it but he refused. He handed me the. Cloak an said "that's a mighty looking ugly thing on top of that expensive dress." He was right the thing was hideous but it was severely needed. I bid him good day and so did he. I began to walk away from the shop and walk into what seemed like a distance. As I walked it seemed as if the shops and houses just faded away into a endless forest. The forest seemed dark and a evil feeling hung over it. I walked for what seemed like forever until a carriage carry a load of boxes began to come my way. If the man hadn't he seen me would've plowed me over. He lost controls of the horses and all the crates went flying until they crashed upon the ground reveling plates, nicknacks, and many other clothing and trading items. The man seemed overwhelmed by the destruction of the items. He looked over at me and strayed to yell. " Why didn't you move! You just destroyed my whole delivery!" He just kept telling me how it was all my fault, not counting his recklessness. He had ran into the back of the cart digging through for something. I had a feeling he was going to do something dangerous, so I grabbed a large shard of the broken plates. The man came back holding a large axe wielding it as if he were maniac. The axe was sharp and rather large. I kept on backing away once he took his first swing he hung bent over with the axe resting. He then had held up the axe ready to swing and chop me into two pieces. I then knew I had to do something I didn't want to do, kill him. I grasped the shard and thrusted it into his heart. He stopped and dropped the axe into the snow. His blood splattered all over my hand, he then collapsed into the snow and a pool of red blood dyed the snow. I knew I had to leave now. I grabbed the axe and searched for any money that he had, then ran off.
