I hated mornings... I grunted all the way to the cafeteria. Sàrda was actually able to reason with my teacher since we guys were absent.
Absent doing what?
Saving lives. Don't we get a good excuse for that?! Geez.
My terrible morning plus the cafeteria food? Yeah, hardly what I'd call a great day.
I just stayed sitting alone. All my friends had groups of their own. Sam in the jokesters, Pepper in another school, Lacer and Lacier in the geek table, Marco with the smaller kids. I was a bit of a loner I guess. I usually hung out with boys but Dennis was a problem.
I hated the fact that he actually goes to this school. Hearthians and humans had to learn to get along so they built this place. Great.
Why couldn't they build an amusement park or something. Everyone loves that. Well... Maybe not Lacer and Lacier but I've seen them act childish before.
"Hey... Why are you avoiding me eh?" Dennis asks walking up to me.
"I don't like you!!! We broke up!!!" I retort.
"Well... Let's get back together then eh?..."
"No!" I say. "Leave me alone!!!"
"Do you like someone else? Is that it?!" He asks me practically shouting.
"I'm a tomboy. Whaddya think?!"
He scoffed. "So... You're out of the gang?"
"Wait... What?..." I ask him.
"I'm the new leader of the old skateboarding group. The old one had a problem and he favored you too actually. But anyway, as the new leader... You're out of the team."
"What?! No!!! I've been part of the team for most of my life! Without sports most of my life is meaningless!!!"
"I'm leader aren't I?... Unless we get back together, you're out of the team. And that includes footie and basketball. The coach is my best friend's father, I can tell him to convince his father to get you out of the female basketball and football teams."
"That's blackmail!!! I can report you!!! I'm protector of purity now you know!!!"
"Well you aren't being such an angel now aren't you?" He smirked.
I wanted to punch him so badly. He pulled me closer to him.
"Let me go you freak!!!" I shouted then I slapped him.
It was self defense. It's not like I hit him or tried to murder him. Even if I really wanted to.
"Heather Field and Dennis Earlington!!! Guidance Counselor's office. Now!!!" Shouted a teacher.
I asked as fast as I could. Dennis kept trying to keep up with me. I always made a different way and closed the door on him to the Counselor.

"So... You hit him?" The counselor asked. He was a human but he looked strict.
"No. I slapped him. Maybe I hit him since he was hitting on me." I told him.
"Call me Mr. Doug. And please don't take that tone with me." He replied.
"Dennis, why were you hitting on her? In the school premises even. She doesn't want to be anywhere near you so why force it?" He asks tapping his hands on the table.
"We used to date. I just wanted to get back together is all." Dennis answered.
"Through blackmail?!" I asked Dennis giving him my fiercest face.
