The Return

My apologies for coming,
Its surprising, I assume
For under circumstances
I was dead, so was presumed.

Though throughout my time of leave
It came to me quite sudden;
I left behind all I adored
To start again with nothing.

This had served me rather well,
I've lived a worthy life,
But somehow came back here again
To sorrow and great strife.

Things were doing great at home,
And yes, they still are well
With a lovely man, a group of friends
And less a living hell.

So why, you may inquire, have I come back for more?
Its rather simple really;
I miss those I adore.
