~Chapter4~

The wind blew in my hair my smile as big as-

Hold up.

That is not how it starts. (Where in present tense. Im trying to sort out tenses in writing)

As i grasp onto Liam's hand we wonder into the havoc Carnival looking to catch a glimpse of the small group of boys with there sisters. After paying the small fee of unlimited rides.

'They said to meet us over at the "Haunted House of Horrors." near the front door,' Liam states, standing on his toes to see over the crowd.

'Ah, yep found it!' He grins speed-waling in the direction that the "Haunted" house is, pulling me along behind him.

"Okay..." I trail off just going along with him.

Im not to fond of haunted houses, when i was young this girl i befriended this really weird girl about 2 years older than me. She was obsessed with stuff like horror and the underworlds, paranormal and all and she would pretend to be a ghost or stuff but me being like four, i believed everything she told me, like all the monsters that bite you toes off and kill you at night, my mum had to spend hours awake looking after me because of my nightmare.

So because when i was younger i believed it all, i am super easily scared when it comes to movies, houses and night...

Stupid girl.

'Its alright, you don't have to go in it,' Liam says turning his head slightly to send me a reassuring smile.

'No i am going! Hell yeah!' i say confidently although my insides are back flipping... Then triple jumping.

'Okay,' Liam says dragging out the 'A' all sing-songy. doubting me.

Rolling my eyes i focus on the house about 20 ft away, as we got closer my eyes were all over the place, luckily for me my hands don't get sweaty or i don't get sweaty when I'm nervous or scared, my eyes just flit to every place in the room. Or area.

'Hey girl hey!' Brittany says sounding extra hypo.

'Hays for horses Brit,' i say teasingly hugging Her, Sarah and Tyla.

Oh god, looking over Tyla's Shoulder i saw The Sign... DUn DuN DUN!

It read:

Everyone will be randomly paired with a stranger when entering and exiting the haunted house.

'Whats wrong?' Tyla asks once she pulled back.

'We have to go in with strangers.' I whispered nervously.

'Adds to the adventure,' she bounces, her eyes gleaming.

Boy does she love haunted houses and scary stuff.

'Alright everyone in a line,' Logan says to us forcing us amongst the 2 lines,.

Tyla, Kendall I in one and Liam, Logan and Brittany in the other.

Except they are pushed ahead so we don't get together.

'Darling, are you ready,' the lady at the booth letting everyone in asks me.

'Y-yeah,' i stutter, let me explain, there were two lines and then a wall separating them so you cant see who your partnered with 'till the very last minute.

Oh lord.

And of course I'm paired with an amazingly cute boy about my age. Im going to embarrass myself, stupid pride... And Liam.
