Chapter Sixteen ~ Delayed

You woke up to feathery kisses being planted onto the back of your neck sending tickles down your spine. Your eyes fluttered open, and once you could see clearly, you turned over to face Jimin who was smiling brightly at you.
"Good morning, sunshine." He greeted with a deep, raspy voice causing butterflies to erupt in your stomach.
"Morning." You giggled softly.
"What's for breakfast?" You asked, but Jimin didn't answer due to the fact that he was too busy admiring you.
"Jimin?" You tried to catch his attention.
"You're so beautiful, especially in the morning when your skin is the brightest, and when your eyes look so pure because you have to get used to the new sunlight, and when your voice is at its softest tone it makes me think if I'm actually talking to an angel instead. I am just so utterly in love with you." Jimin's speech brought tears to your eyes.
"I love you more than anything or anyone." You hiccuped finally pressing your lips onto his.

Neither of you cared about whether you had morning breath or not, the only thing that mattered was what you two had, which was love.

After your sweet moment in bed, you both got up to get ready for the day.
"What would you like for breakfast, my love?" Jimin asked as you both walked hand in hand to the kitchen.
"Gross." Ara rolled her eyes from the couch.
"Cereal will be fine for today." You replied completely ignoring Ara's response from earlier.
"Cereal for two coming right up." Jimin goes to get the food ready.

"Have you eaten anything?" You asked Ara.
"Nope, I just woke up."
"Do you want cereal?" You yawned still drained from last night.
"Sure."
"Jimin, can you make a bowl for Ara?" You called out.
"Um, OK." He said awkwardly.

Other than the sound of objects hitting each other from the kitchen, the entire apartment was silent.
"Breakfast is ready." Jimin announced and the three of you sat awkwardly at the table munching on cereal.

After breakfast the three of you got ready for the day before leaving to go to the headquarters.

When you arrived, you met everyone at the lounge room.
"How was the date?" Taehyung asked as he tied Ara to a chair.
"She kissed me." Jimin muttered loud enough for everyone to hear.
"This girl is crazy." Hoseok shook his head in annoyance.
"Who the hell forces them self on someone who is clearly taken while they already have someone, to begin with?" Jungkook scoffed.
"I'm right here, you know." Ara said.
"Shut up." Jimin rolled his eyes.
"Did you kiss her back?" Taehyung asked.
Jimin fell silent.
"Silence means yes." Seokjin said.
"So then technically it's partially Jimin's fault too." Namjoon chimed in.
"Ew, hyung." Jungkook said.
"Can we not talk about this?" Ara asked.
"I agree, it's already been over and done with." You agreed rolling your eyes.
"Awe, is someone jealous?" Taehyung teased in a baby voice.
"Shut it, you perverted alien." You smacked his arm.
"Me-ow." Taehyung laughed.

"So, we had a brief meeting before you three came, and decided to delay the execution." Yoongi spoke up.
"Say what now?" Jimin yelled.
"We need some time because we have other jobs to take care of, but don't worry she will be staying with Seokjin." Yoongi explained.
"Is it safe?" You asked.
"We just have to get rid of any tracking device she has on her body." Namjoon said.
"Seokjin will check her in case she has anything on or inside of her." Yoongi added.
"Can I help check her?" Taehyung smirked earning another smack from you.
"Enough with the smacking, I'm going to have a concussion if you smack me one more time." Taehyung groaned rubbing his head.
"Fuck! You've gotten stronger since Jungkook started training you." He pouted.
"That's my girl." Jungkook high-fived you.
"You mean my girl." Jimin huffed in jealousy, but soften up when you wrapped your arms around him.

"So what now?" Jimin asked.
"Seokjin will begin doing checkups on Ara, while the rest of us have a meeting." Yoongi instructed.
"What will (Y/N) do?" Jimin asked.
"She can come with me." Seokjin stepped in.
