Chapter Eighteen ~ Working Hard

The next morning you woke up in a great mood. You looked over to see Jimin still fast asleep, so you slowly got out of bed to make breakfast. You searched through the cabinets thinking of what to make. So far your only option was pancakes.
"I guess this will do." You shrugged grabbing the box of pancake mix.

You did what anyone else would, you followed the instructions on the box and cooked the pancakes.

Not long after, you had finished cooking the pancakes and transferred them into a platter. All there was left was to wash the dishes.

"Morning, baby." Jimin spoke up in a tired voice.
"Good morning." You smiled.
"What's for breakfast?"
"Pancakes." You brought over the platter of fresh pancakes.
"Did you brush your teeth?" You asked.
"Yes, mother." He rolled his eyes playfully.

You both sat at the table, and began to eat your breakfast.

"Let's head out now, shall we?" Jimin took your hand in his and lead you to his vehicle.

"I need to train harder from now on." You informed Jungkook.
"Uh, all right. We can start by warming up on the treadmills." Jungkook replied a slightly emotionless.

You quickly tied your hair up before starting the machine. You started with a walk, speeding up to a slow jog until you found your pace, a few minutes later, you began to speed up until you got to a sprint.

"Sprint for at least ten minutes, if you know you can go further add another five minutes!" Jungkook called out over the loud noises of the machines.

About twelve minutes later, you began to slow down from a sprint, to a jog, to a walk.

"That was good, now let's stretch our muscles before we train." Jungkook threw you a towel and your water bottle.

Once you were refreshed, you stretched your limbs to avoid injuries.

"Start with the punching bag." Jungkook instructed.

You did as told, making your way to the bag of sand. You started off easily, until a visual of Chan's face appeared in your mind. This threw you off into a fit of punches.

"Shit, are you OK? I've never seen you so angry." Jungkook chuckled.
"No worries." You shrugged too focused in getting rid of Chan's face that was installed in your brain.

"You know what you haven't taught me yet, Jungkook?" An idea popped into you mind causing you to slow your punches.
"What?"
"How to get out of someone's grip."
"You're right, let's do that now."

You two entered the rink.

"So, let's say someone grabs your wrist."
"In order to get out of that grip, you have to kind of manipulate it, like this." Jungkook had you grip his write before he unexpectedly twisted his hand to grab you wrist causing you to successfully let go.
"Do you get it?" You nodded in response, and did the exact same actions to him.
"Perfect, and once you have your opponents wrist, you just take your blow on him."

"Now, if someone were to grab your shoulder, shrugging it off won't help at all, so do this." He placed your hand on his shoulder and swung his arm back words.
"Hopefully you won't hurt yourself if you do this in a fast pace, but give it a try."
Jungkook tightly gripped your shoulder , and you swung your arm back.
"You got it!" He smiled.

"Now let's remain with the usual training, but add more force." Jungkook placed his protective gloves on his hands so you could punch them.

Jungkook then began to call out the punches.
"Left!"
"Right!"
"Right!"
"Right!"
"Left!"
"Right!"
"Left!"
"Left!"

Jungkook voice slowly began to fade as he got lost into his own world.

"Jungkook?" You looked at him confused.
"Jungkook." You coed waving a hand in front if his eyes snapping him back into reality.
"Huh?"
"Are you all right?" You asked.
"Yeah, uh, don't worry about it." He tried to smile.
"Maybe we need to take a break." You suggested.

"Mind telling me what's wrong?" You sat next to Jungkook on the floor of the rink as you handed him a water bottle.

"This is going to sound crazy, but.."

"I think I'm gay."
