Chapter Thirty-Five ~ Truth be Told

It was the next afternoon, and all of you spent your day at Jungkook's apartment.

You watched as Jungkook and Taehyung cuddled on the couch, exchanging small kisses on the lips or any piece of skin they could reach without moving out of their comfortable position. You couldn't help but feel happy for them because well, if they were happy, you were happy.

Then a question came to mind.

"Do the guys know about your relationship?"

The two boys stopped what they were doing to look at you.
"Huh?" They asked in unison.
"The gang, do they know that you're dating?" You repeated.

Taehyung and Jungkook looked at each other and shook their heads.
"To be honest, we kind of forgot to tell them." Taehyung scratched the back of his neck.

"I didn't forget." The other boy admitted.

You and Taehyung looked at him confused, so Jungkook let out a sigh before explaining.

"I'm a little scared if I'm being honest here."
"It's not like I'm embarrassed or anything." He quickly added.
"But I can't help but think of so many 'what ifs', like what if they take it the wrong way, or what if they're homophobic?"

"Don't think of it that way, Jungkook." You said.
"Yeah, Jimin supports us 100%." Taehyung noted.
"Their approval doesn't matter anyway. We are the ones who have a say in our relationship, not them. We're in this together." Taehyung added locking their hands together.
"I'm here for you guys too." You reminded them with a warm smile.

"We don't have to tell them if you're not ready yet." Taehyung reassured Jungkook.
"I want it to come out naturally, not out of the blue." The younger boy explained.
"Then we'll wait for the right moment." Taehyung confirmed with a smile.

Looking at how well Taehyung and Jungkook fit together as a team and as lovers made you smile, but it also made you realize something.

"I think I'm ready now." You admitted.
"Ready for what?" Taehyung asked.
"I'm ready to talk to Jimin."

"Wait what?"
"Are you sure?" The boys asked you out of concern.
"Taehyung's right, Jimin has waited long enough, and I'm ready to settle things with him." You explained with great confidence.
"So you're just going to knock on his door to see if he's free?" Taehyung asked.
"Nope. You're going to text him to ask when he's going to be home tonight, then I'll go talk to him."
"Someone's persistent." Taehyung muttered.
"But OK, I'll text him."

Taehyung took his phone out and began to type away using the excuse of might wanting to hang out that night.

"He said he'll be home by 6:30 tonight."

It was 6:00pm, and the boys were helping you get dressed to see Jimin.

"Guys, I'm going to his place to talk not go on a date." You reminded them.
"Yeah, but do you really want to look like you haven't showered in days or do you want to look sexy and confident?" Taehyung asked.
"I showered this morning!" You defended.

"Jungkook! Get away from my undergarments!"
"These aren't sexy enough, why do you only have these?" Jungkook asked.
"Jimin was the one who packed my stuff, remember?"

Jungkook let out a sigh, "It's a good thing I got you these earlier today." He tossed some material to your lap.

You lifted it up and stared at it.
"Jeon Jung-fucking-Kook." You cursed.
