Heroes [Naruto]

25 ; ONE LESS

"IBIKI!" Ushio yelled as she saw they were about to depart. A fifth ninja was reporting to them.

"Ushio?"  he wondered as she landed next to him.

"Report from the arena. The Kazekage's well-being is unknown, the person there was Orochimaru in disguise. He led the Sand into this, and they're working with the Sound. Lord Hokage is trapped with Orochimaru in a  Four Violet Flames Formation, and Sand and Sound ninjas are attacking all the ninjas in the arena. Uzumaki Naruto, Haruno Sakura and Nara Shikamaru were sent after Uchiha Sasuke to help in the pursue of Gaara, Temari and Kankuro. Apparently, Gaara is some sort of a secret weapon."

Ibiki seemed deep in thought. "I see... What are your orders?"

"Whatever you tell me to do."

"Would you rather help take the citizens to shelters or fight the summonings?"

"Summonings," she immediately said, smirking. "I've got a thing with animals."

There were three of them.

Three giant snakes.

The two to the sides ignored her presence all together, but the one in the middle, he took a notice in Ushio. Ibiki warned her, but she made no move as he rushed towards her. Ushio deadpanned as he picked her up from her shirt, throwing her over so she was sitting on his head.

"What's your name, buddy?" he hissed something. "Kwakami?" he hissed once more, "oh, Kawami! Well,  Kawami, are the other two close to you? No? Then let's beat their ass!"

Ibiki sweatdropped as he watched Ushio sitting on the giant snake's head, telling him what to do, and as he slammed his body into the other snakes, attacking the Sand and Sound ninjas instead of Konoha's. A few ninjas scratched their heads, confused.

"Listen up," Ibiki called. "Three of you stay with me here, the others go as reinforcements to help in taking the citizens to shelter and with the Hokage's situation at the arena. Go!"

"Hey... Isn't that kind of weird...?"

"Don't question anything that happens when she's around animals, just make sure no one gets past us into Konoha."

"Yessir."

"Kawami, thank you so much!" Ushio patted his head. "Please continue protecting the village from any Sound or Sand ninja that gets near. Ahhh, I wanna sign a contract with you."

Kawami rubbed his head against her much smaller head, making her giggle. He asked her to raise her hand and mix a drop of blood with his venom in her hand. After a moment, it started searing and smoke rose from her hand.

"What's that, Mr. Kawami?" He hissed a reply, making her smile. "A summoning contract between the two of us only, huh? Thank you. You're a good friend," she grinned, and he rubbed his head against hers again. She patted him, before jumping away.

"You're friends with a snake," Ibiki noted as they jumped towards the arena.

"Kawami is really nice!" she sung as the five of them jumped from roof to roof. "Look at how he's fighting for us! We signed a contract, I'm gonna summon him to help us re-build Konoha."

"I'm... I'm not sure if that's a great idea, considering giant snakes ruined it."

"Kawami is different, he's my friend now!"

"You know what, I'm not gonna argue with ya," Ushio smiled at Ibiki. 

They quickly arrived at the arena, and Ushio elbowed again a ninja. "Kakashi! I got a summoning giant snake!"
