The wind blew through Ushio's hair, and she shut her eyes, savouring the serenity of the situation. The storm didn't always follow a calm, but she still savoured each calm moment she had, just in case.
Her life lost true serenity long ago, so that was as good as she had.
"So, let's all introduce ourselves," the silver haired teacher announced, onyx eye watching the four as they sat next to each other. He assessed them quickly. The Uchiha, his teacher's son, the pinkette that stared dreamily at the Uchiha, and the smaller than the rest that had her eyes shut, leg muscles tensed, as though expecting.
"How?" Sakura wondered, making Ushio sigh and open her eyes. She glanced at her best friend, before looking back at her new teacher.
"Things you like, things you hate. Dreams for the future, hobbies, that kind of stuff."
"Why don't you go first?" Ushio commented, feigning interest. Kakashi caught the way her lips were pressed together, not seeming actually interested with his reply. He also did not fail to realize she muted her chakra signature altogether. He wondered.
"Yeah, you seem kind of suspicious!" Naruto agreed with Ushio.
"I really wonder what makes him seem that way; perhaps the mask covering the lower part of his face? Or maybe the fact you can only see one eye in his whole face? Or, oh, I know, his weird looking hair?"
"Well, Ushio, I believe that all of the above," Naruto said after a moment of thought.
The two turned to give each other a grin, before high-fiving.
"You're a horrible influence on her, idiot!" Sakura screamed at Naruto.
"I'm so sorry Sakura!" he cried.
Ushio blinked, before turning to face the teacher. "I apologize, sir. But please introduce yourself."
Ah, she was a weird one.
"Okay," he rubbed his head, "uh, My name is Hatake Kakashi, My likes and dislikes... are none of your business, my hobbies, well, I've got a lot of them, and as for dreams for the future... Never really thought of that." He finished up.
"So all he told us... was his name."
"Thanks you captain obvious."
"Shut up Ushio."
"Well, you in the orange-- you're next," Kakashi said.
"Me?" Naruto asked, excited. "OKAY! My name is Uzumaki Naruto, I like... Eating Ramen! My hobbies include eating different kind of ramens and comparing them. I hate the three minutes you have to wait until the ramen is ready and... My dream for the future is being the greatest Hokage ever!"
"I think I'm deaf," Ushio commented, as she sat just next to Naruto, all of his yells about ramen right in her ear. "All I can hear is... Ramen."
"You really destroyed her," Sakura told Naruto, glaring.
"I swear I've done nothing, Sakura!"
"You, pink hair."
"My name is Sakura Haruno. My likes are... Well, the person I like is..." she turned to look at Sasuke, flushing bright red. "My hobbies include--" she squealed, even redder. "And my dreams for the future are..." at that she was fried, squealing like crazy.
"You look like my hair." Ushio commented flatly.
"You really need to shut up," Naruto warned her. "Sakura is scary."
"The red haired?" Kakashi asked, making Ushio turn to look at him.
"My name is Ushio Adachi," she smiled. "I like sweets, and I like training. My dislikes... sweating after training, Naruto's weird jutsus," she commented, shooting him a look- to which he laughed awkwardly- "My hobbies? Well, I like reading, and training as I said, and, uh... Oh! I like visiting some of my mom's patients! 'specially Asuma..." she trailed off quietly, staying silent for a moment. Didn't Asuma say he'll try and be her teacher? "Dreams? I want to be stronger. My ambition? Well, that's easy. I'm gonna be an ANBU."
