The library

Me and Olly were in the library revising for our charms test next week. "Of course, how could I be so stupid? I checked this out weeks ago for a bit of light reading," a loud thud echoed through the library as a huge book landed on the table. I knew straight away that someone like Hermione would check out something that gives off that sound for some 'light reading'. I'm actually surprised she's not in Ravenclaw. She's very clever but I'm also glad she's not in my house. Don't think I would survive all the books, extra parchment and nerdy comments in the common room every day.

"I heard she nearly got killed by a troll the other day," Olly whispered in my ear "Bet she wasn't clever enough to know what to do then, she had the chosen one and the Weasley come save her!" He sounded so evil. He reminded me of Malfoy. I didn't like that, I made it clear. Before I could do anything my hand was raised, and a red mark appeared across my boyfriends face.
"Oh my god. I'm so sorry Olly!" I said with my hand covering my gawping mouth. He looked at me. Plainly. No emotion in his eyes. His hands reached for his stuff and he left. I felt so bad tears began to roll down my cheek. I tried to distract myself, anything would do, I wanted to see what Hermione's light reading was.

I peaked around the side of a book case, careful to hide my body so just my green eyes and deep red hair could be seen.
"Of course!" The clever frizzy haired girl started. God how I loathed her. "Nicholas flammel!" Wait...

I heard that name before. My dad had been talking to my mum about something at work before my letter came. He mentioned something about Nicholas flammel. Something about a stone too. I shook my head, rubbed my eyes and carried on listening.

"The what?" The two boys said confused.
"Honestly don't you two read!" The mud blood said richly. Almost like how a pure blood speaks.

I found Ashley and told her everything I knew about what eventful stuff I just found. She said she was going to find Luna and I should tell Austin.

"Austin!!!" I shouted as I ran into the Ravenclaw common room. The dark haired boy turned his head, bloodshot eyes greeted mine. "Oh. Are you ok?" I asked sitting down next to him putting a comforting hand on his shaking shoulder. He just shook his head and sobbed quietly. "Do u want to be alone?" I asked scared of what he would say.
"No! I, I want someone, just to stay here. Please." His eyes full of emotion, the emerald green globes as deep as the ocean, full of sadness and heart break. I couldn't see him like this, I had to either distract us or leave.

"Hey, do you want to go for a walk and talk about it?"
"Ok" he sniffed and a tear dropped to the carpet. I handed him a tissue "thanks Jana."

We get changed and go for a walk before dinner. We walked almost around the whole school. He told me so many things that bugged him but what made his bottle over flow was his grandma died. My heart skipped a beat when I said this. I lump appeared in my throat and no matter how much I swallowed it didn't go away.
"I felt a stabbing pain in my chest yesterday evening, I was wearing a ring that my grandma gave me when I came out, I just lied down in bed and my chest just burned like hell. Like something bad happened and I could have done something about it. I think my dad had something to do about it." Austin loaded all this on me
"Well woah." I managed to spit out.
"After I found out she died the ring became rusty and not pure. It was what made the bottle over flow. The one perfect thing in my life gone bad."
"Hey, let's get some food, enjoy our Friday evening and we'll go shopping on Saturday and work on Sunday. How does that sound?" I rubbed his back
"Yea ok. Thanks again Jana. I love you." He pulled me into one of his chocolatey hugs.
"I love you too."
