"Joanna where were you, you had me worried about you." He said pacing back-and-forth. "Running off like that after I told you on your shift you most stay with the pack at all times."

I'm sorry father, I was over by the lake looking at my reflection. I promise it won't happen again.

"It's okay Niall she's safe, so sweetie tell me how was your first run as a wolf?" Said mom.

It's amazing and I look just like you pure White we Grey eyes, well not quite like you your much larger mother. I think I'm going to go back to the house now I'm exhausted from all the running.

I ran back to the house, went behind the tree where I left my clothes shift back and put on my clothes. Than I went upstairs to the bathroom to take a bath. All I can think about is my mate in why is he's a vampire.

"Do it matter if he's a vampire", my wolf said with anger. "So what are you going to do will you see him again."

Why do you like him he's a vampire your and I'm a wolf get over it we will find someone else. How could you possibly think that will work out they are our enemies we hate vampire in everything they stand for. Do you really think I could bring him home to meet father, and say I found my mate? Do you think the pack will approve him as Alpha? No it would be a disaster and they will kill him at first sight. Do you understand?

"I understand that, but he is our mate." She says weeping from sadness.

I know you're sad, just don't cry. I'll think of something in the morning, but for now I'm tired I don't want to think about it right now.

I wake up the next morning walk in the bathroom brush my teeth take a shower and wash my hair with my favorite scented shampoo pomegranate. Blow dry my hair and put on my clothes, I wear a black button up shirt, black skinny leg jeans, and black boots what can I say I love the color black. I put on a little mascara some blush on my pale skin you would think I was a vampire. Than walked downstairs to the kitchen smelling my favorite blueberry pancakes and bacon.

"How did you sleep sweetheart after your first run," she said has she was walking over to me giving me a kiss on my cheek passing me my plate.

"Like a baby," I said lying straight through my teeth. I could sleep at all thinking about that's stupid vampire. And what did I do to the moon goddess that was so bad for her to give me such torture. "Where is father?"

"He's in the office having a meeting with beta, about there being a vampire on our territory. Then she looked at me and said, sweetheart did you notice anything weird last night?

"No, why do you ask mom?"

"Because a couple of pack members say that they saw him over by the lake around the time you were."

"I have to go."gave her a kiss and told her I'm running late for school, so I grabbed my keys and headed to the garage, hopped in my Mustang and drove off to school in a panic thinking what if someone seen me last night talking to him.
