Last night we said "I Love You,"
Like Atlantis, risen from the deep blue.
It felt like such bliss,
As we passionately kissed.
We stared into the depths of love,
The moon and stars glimmerin' from high above.
We held one another... I beamed so bright,
You smiled widely... holding me so tight.
Last night we said "I Love You,"
It's so surreal... yet we know that it's true.
I hear your laughter and see your smile,
My love for you encompasses all the while.
Your kiss... it felt like the return of Spring,
I wonder when those bells will ring!
I'll love you forever... while holding your hand,
We'll love one another... oh isn't life grand?
Last night we said three wonderful words,
The stars shined bright, for they must have heard.
The sun woke up on the morn',
Smiling and learning from the moon that our love had been born!
The clouds parted... the sunlight beamed,
We rowed in the boat... rode across that stream.
A rainbow twinkled above in the great blue,
We curled into one... the sun danced on through.
Last night we said something so incredibly sweet,
We held one another... What a real treat!
You mesmerised me... and all that I am and shall be,
You kissed me so sweet... Oh how I love saying "We."
Last night we said "I Love You,"
We know this to be true.
Last night we said "I Love You,"
And my darlin', oh how I say it through and through.
"I Love You."
