this is sort of a second spin on a draft I had written a few years back that I never published. I haven't seen many stories about the 'cons getting human charges so that's also a second reason of why I'm writing this.

"My liege, I don't mean to question your choices but have you lost your processor?" Knockout inquired, optic ridges raised. Megatron simply chuckled lowly and shook his helm.
"Think of it like this, Knockout: The Decepticon cause would gain leverage, valuable assets for certain reasons, and finally be a step ahead of the Autobots." Megatron explained, clenching a fist for emphasis. Knockout glanced over at Starscream who, unsurprisingly, looked like something gross was touching his frame. Shockwave and Soundwave...eh. They seemed fine.
Maybe a little concerned.
"Lord Megatron, is it really wise to allow the vermin of this world roam the halls of this warship? They are, no doubt, needful, disgusting creatures that are all the mor-"
"Starscream!" Starscream's rant was quickly stopped by a swift shout from Megatron. The silver Seeker stepped back into the shadows, avoiding Megatron's heated glare.
"Does anyone else want to question my decision?" Megatron hissed, optics roaming the gathered commanding officers.
No response.
Megatron grinned.
"Splendid. Now, we are all to choose a certain human that we would want to keep as our pet. And since there's over seven billion of the organics on this planet, you are all to choose only from the 'United States of America'. It is where the most...variety will be. You all have three solar cycles to pick. Dismissed until further notice." And with that, the Decepticons left the throne room, the instructions embedded into their minds.
This is going to be a bad idea.
