Ariel's POV
"No!" I yell! "Don't leave me Weston!" I cry out. I start balling. I-this-no!

I hear a second cannon go off. Zach finished Maci. I hold Weston.

I will never forget you little goofball.

I cry harder. I just lost my "little brother"

"No!" I scream.

I examine his stab. It was right where his other one was.

He was keeping watch. I love him as my brother. I can't believe I lost him.

I turn around and Zach's running towards me. I collapse into his arms.

"I'm so sorry Ariel, he had too much to live for," he cried out.

I tightened my grip around his waist.

"He was like my little brother!" I scream. I sob into his chest.

This will not go down easily.

"Thank you for killing Maci," I say.

"He killed one of my best friends, I did it for both of us," he says.

He picks me up bridal style and we find a cave to sit in.

We find one and I want to take first watch. I want time alone and cry.

"Ariel! Go to sleep, I will wake you up then you can watch. I don't want anything to happen to you," he says. I nod, I curl into his chest.

A few sobs leave my body, but he just strokes my arm and says, "Shh, you'll be okay."

I drift off into sleep.

Zach's POV
I'm scared for tomorrow. I feel like that'll be our last day.

It's Brennen, Ariel and I. I can't kill Ariel so I hope Brennen kills me.

A few hours pass and I wake up Ariel. She needs time alone. I shake her awake and she accepts to take watch.

She's still curled up into me. She holds a knife to her chest.

As I drift off to sleep I hear a sudden scream of terror, "AHHH!" That can only be one person, Brennen.

"Must kill Musers," I hear something say. I get up and look out the cave. Zombies of Musers.

"No," I whisper. It's like the mutts in the movie! It's to finish us off! I'm Peeta, Ariel is Katniss, and Brennen is Cato! But like not as vicious.

I grab Ariel's hand and we start running. She gets weak and I let her in my back. We run to the beach.

"Almost there," she says.

I nod and oh my god.

The center is underwater and the bases we started on are no longer there. We are surrounded by zombie Musers.

Not just the ones from the games, but all of the crowned Musers.

I see Loren.

Jacob.

Nick.

Brennen and I are face to-face.

Ariel's POV
"Zach," I say.

He ignores me.

Him and Brennen start fighting.

"Stop it!" I scream.

The zombies are closing our gap.

I get in front of Zach and a sharp pain goes up my jaw. I was punched. I fall back, zombies clawing at my hair.

"Ow!" I scream.

"Ariel!" Zach screams.

I'm dying. Zach is going to live!

"Leave me!" I scream.

He knocks Brennen into the mob of zombies. Zach pulls me out and cradles me. He takes me out in the water, still holding me 

"Is he dying?" I ask holding my head.

"I can't tell," he says pulling me closer.

Finally we hear a cannon. The zombies die as the sun comes up.

We're the last two.

We've survived the Muser Games.

We won't come out of these games together.

One of us is going to die.

And it won't be Zach.
