I arrived at the voice kids venue early, I was sitting down in one of the seats using my phone, I was putting a caption for the photo Chris sent me, it was a photo of him holding onto me during what we can call "the skating disaster" but it was cute, I captioned it:
Happy birthday to my mate here hope you have a great day see ya in a few minutes 💯😏
I checked most of my Twitter notifications and Instagram, quite a few people had followed me after the battle rounds, I saw Chris walking towards me and he flopped onto one of the seats,
"Morning" I said
"Why did you get me that camera?" He said narrowing his eyes at me,
"Hey geez calm down" I said holding my hands up in defence,
"You told me you loved photography, so I guess that you'd like the new Olympus camera that they released" I said
"But why? Geez Leia do you know how expensive it was" he said,
"Well my dad has a special offer there and he didn't want new cameras so he gave it to me and I didn't want it, I didn't really spend that much money anyways, just accept your birthday present Christopher" I said nudging me,
"But...... " he said interrupting,
"Nope anyways Happy Birthday!" I said smiling,
"Ok ok thank you so much Leia" he said giving me a hug,
"And please don't call me Christopher" he added,
"That might be my new name for you" I said smirking,
"Oh please don't" he said slumping onto the seat, I laughed and we watched as kids came piling into the hall, Madisyn came over and sat next to me,
"Are you guys a thing?" She said,
"Oh my god Madisyn for the fifth time no!" I said pushing her,
"God sorry just wondering" she said laughing, as usual the judges were speaking to us from the stage,
"Hello semi finalist of the voice kids!" Benji shouted
"As you all know you guys have made it through the next round where we will be doing sing offs" he announced,
"Sing offs is where you sing the original song you sung but we will help you improve on it" Mel b shouted,
"Now onto rehearsals!" Delta shouted,
"The sing offs will be this Saturday!" She added,
"Now split off to your coaches please" Joel instructed everyone stood up and we made our way to rehearsal rooms,
"I'll drop you off at your house after alright?" Chris asked,
"Alright see ya later" I said waving, I went back to Madisyn and we walked back to Mel B's rehearsal room, we all sat on the floor and Mel B came running in,
"Hello everyone, first of all I'm going to say I'm very proud of you all" she said,
"But I'm afraid things are about to get way harder, out off five of you guys I can only bring two, I know this weeks gonna be harsh" Mel B said, Mel B's phone rang,
"Give me a minute please" she rushed out of the room,
"Only 2?! That means it's the grand finale!" I said to Madisyn,
"Yeah I know....." She said,
"I can't believe this journey is ending so quickly" I said stunned, Madisyn sighed and we sat there waiting for Mel B to return.

It was lunch time, Me, Madisyn, Alexa were sitting on the lunch table together,
"How old are you Alexa?" Madisyn asked,
"Ten" she responded,
"You're quite brave to come up and perform" I said complementing her,
"Thank you" she responded cheerfully, I saw a few boys walking to our table and of course it was Chris and his gang,
"Hey Leia" he chimed,
"Mind if we sit?" He asked,
"Um no problem" I responded, there wasn't only Chris, there was Ethan, Ruhi and Robbie coming to join us,
"You both are team Mel B right?" I asked Ruhi and Robbie,
"Yep" the both responded,
"Hey Ethan" I asked as he was about to take a seat next to me,
"Move over I'm sitting there" Chris said pushing Ethan,
"Hey hey Soz dude didn't know you were that desperate" Ethan said, I felt my face go hot,
"Anyways" Madisyn said interrupting the awkwardness,
"Anyone nervous for the grand finale?" She asked,
"Who isn't?" Alexa said,
"Well we've all made it this far" Chris added, the lunch bell rang and we all headed back to rehearsal,
"I'll wait for you outside after rehearsals ok?" Chris said,
"Yeah ok" I responded, me, Madisyn, Robbie and Ruhi walked back all together,
"Ya know, Chris dragged us all over to sit with you guys" Robbie said,
"You weren't meant to tell her you idiot!" Ruhi said pushing Robbie,
"Sorry" he mumbled,
"Really?" Madisyn said smirking at me,
"He has an eye for you" Madisyn said nudging me,
"As if" I scoffed, we all walked back and continued singing rehearsals.

"So" I said awkwardly, me and Chris was sitting in his mom's car,
"So" he mimicked, I rolled my eyes,
"I was wondering-"
"Wait me first" Chris laughed,
"What?!" I said stubbornly,
"I was wondering if you'd like to come over to my house tomorrow maybe I can teach you how to skate properly" he offered,
"Yeah sure I'll come after lunch, it's a way of taking off the stress of the show" I said,
"Alright then, bring your guitar we might have some time to practise too" he added, the car came to a stop,
"Ok I'll see you tomorrow then" I said smiling,
"See you" he gave one last glance and shut the car door.
