Chapter 32 - Luna park

It was the last day, the final day, the day of the voice kids finale. I got out of bed and checked my phone, it was an email from the voice kids management,

We hope everyone had a spectacular day yesterday! There will be cameras today following you and your coaches around your "mystery location" we are just warning you guys I'm advance.

I yawned and went to brush my teeth,
"Hmm cameras" I said to myself, I got out a black skirt and a flowery short tshirt top,
"That looks ok" I said shrugging, I walked out of my room and went downstairs to eat breakfast,
"Morning the grand finale is today!" My mom said excitedly,
"God I'm so nervous" I said spooning cornflakes into my mouth,
"Just do your best and everyone will remember your performance" my mom said squeezing my shoulder,
"Thanks" I said giving her a weak smile, I finished off my breakfast and grabbed my finale dress and an extra dress just in case I get into the top three. I was putting on my shoes and walked outside waiting for Chris's car. What happened if I made it the top three and Chris didn't? What happened if we both didn't?
I was snapped out of my daydream by a car honking,
"Hop in!" Chris shouted from the window, I got in and gave him a kiss on the cheek,
"Morning" I said smiling,
"Morning Leia!" Ingrid said cheerfully,
"Morning!" I shouted from the backseat, I put all of my stuff in the boot and returned back to my seat to fasten my seatbelt.
"Ah god I'm scared where Mel B is going to take me and Madisyn" I said shifting in my seat,
"Me too, they could legit take us anywhere" Chris replied staring out the window, we soon arrived at the venue where we met up with all the other finalist.
"Please drop your stuff off in the changing rooms backstage!" Mel B shouted, me and Chris picked up our stuff from his car and made our way inside.
"Woah" I breathed, the stage was once again decorated, instead of having a battle ring in the middle this time it was a normal stage with huge lights and a walkway.
"Man this looks like some sort of fashion show" Chris said slinging his guitar case over his shoulder.
"Rude" I said pushing him,
"But it's the truth" he said shrugging, I rolled my eyes and we walked backstage together, there were three doors one said,
"Alexa and Grace" on said,
"Leia and Chris" the other one said,
"Madisyn and Bella"
"There must be a mistake" I mumbled,
"It should be in teams" I said,
A stage manager came running over to us,
"Sorry guys the girls chose earlier on and they said you guys wanted to be together" he said quickly before rushing off.
"Well um let's go then" Chris said twisting door handle.

"TAKE YOUR BLINDFOLDS OFF" Mel B shouted as I took off my blindfold my eyes squinting at the light,
"Oh my god" I gasped, a huge clown shaped entrance and a bunch of carnival rides, this could only be one place,
"Luna park!" Madisyn exclaimed.
"Yes girls, let go in!" Mel B said taking our hands and dragging us in, I could see out of the corner of my eye a camera crew following us so I plastered a smile on my face and proceeded to walk with Mel B,
"LETS GO TO THE HAIR RAISER!" Mel B said pulling us both to the ride, all three of us got onto the ride and the camera crew came to us , they were carrying three go-pros,
"What that for?" I asked as one of the camera crew attached it to the handle,
"To capture you guys on the ride" he locked the gamer in place and stepped away,
"Ok we're all ready to go" he said as he exited the area,
"Ah god I'm so going to regret this" I whined to Madisyn,
"No no girls never regret anything this is going to be fun!" Mel B said as she clicked her safely belt into place.
"God save me" I whispered as Madisyn laughed.

I have never been more frightened of heights in my life,
"Are you ok?" Madisyn asked standing over me,
"Yeah I'm fine" I said weakly as I laid on the ground after riding yet another scary ride.
"Get up Leia we have a show to go to!" Mel B said helping me up,
"Quick prep talk" she said to me and Madisyn,
"Now when you were screaming on the roller coaster Madisyn and you screaming on the hair raiser, I want you to bring all that energy to the stage!" Mel B said waving her hands,
"Now we need to get back for the interviews and get your costumes on!" Mel B said pointing at the exit. Me and Madisyn looked at each other and dashed to the exit,
"Don't be so happy to leave!" Mel B called out, I laughed and Mel B came running over to us, we all got into the car and went back to the venue. As soon as we pulled up there were two other cars parked there as well,
"Well I guess the others are back too" I said looking out the window, there were barriers set up everywhere as people try to reach us, I got out of the car with Madisyn and spotted Ethan,
"ETHAN!" I said running over to him and giving him a hug,
"Hey Leia" he said smiling,
"Hey don't I get a hug too?" Chris asked opening his arms, he pulled me over and engulfed me in a hug, he kissed me on the cheek and I felt my cheeks burn as everyone had eyes on us, we walked in together and sat down for one final prep talk.
"Now let's make this a show to remember! The first ever voice kids Australia!" Delta said cheering, we all clapped,
"Get your voices ready and let the show begin!" Joel said rubbing his hands together. We were all headed backstage and put on our costumes I close the curtain and quickly changed, I opened the curtain and Chris was standing there shirtless,
"Chris!" I said looking away,
"Hi Leia!" He said laughing,
"Geez haven't you heard of a changing room!?" I asked still looking away,
"Nope" he said popping the p,
I heard footsteps behind me and a pair of arms snaked around my waist,
"Is your shirt on? Or else I'm not getting anywhere near you" I said daring not to look around,
"Haha yes" Chris chuckled,
I looked into his eyes and gulped,
"Listen, what ever happens tonight I'll always love you ok?" Chris said whispering,
"Alright" I whispered, his eyes looked at my lips and he started to leaned in, I closed my eyes and he pulled me closer,
"YO ITS SHOWTIME!" Ethan shouted bursting through the door, me and Chris quickly pulled away and I looked down at my feet.
"Oh sorry for ruining moment" Ethan laughed,
"I'll leave you two alone" Ethan said shutting the door,
"I guess it showtime" Chris said holding my hands,
"Yeah" I breathed out,
"Come here" he said extending his hand out, he put one arm around my shoulder and we walked out together. I wish Ethan would had never came in, I wish we could turn back time.
I wish he kissed me.
