"So what did you want to talk to me about?" I asked Chris, we were sitting at the waterfront looking at the sunset,
"Something I need to get out of my mind" he replied,
"I'm always here" I said, he placed his hand gently on top of my mind and I felt my heart speed quicken,
"I just need to spit it out" he whispered,
"Go on then" I said encouraging him,
"Listen Leia, ever since that day I met you, the first auditions when you sang, I knew that you were different from everyone else. Whenever I hear you sing or see you I simply smile" he gulped and looked down at his hands,
"And that also explains why I was my face was so red during the battle rounds after you kissed me" he said chuckling,
"No wonder why!" I said laughing,
"I just want you to know Leia, you're beautiful and you have an amazing voice, and I'm so happy that I get to go through this journey with you" he said, I laced my fingers with his and he continued speaking,
"The one thing that gets in the way is that we're competitors on a TV show, and for me it's hard to go against someone I love" he sighed,
"The truth is Chris, I've been thinking about this too... And I can't bear the thought of going against someone I love and knowing there can only be one winner" I replied,
"It's worth a try, I'd do anything for you Leia, so I'm just going to say this, Leia Thompson will you go out with me?" Chris said looking at me, it took a moment to register what Chris was saying to me,
"Yes Chris, I would love to" I said calmly trying not to freak out, he pecked me on the cheek and we sat there silently admiring the sunset,
"Are you sure this is going to work?" I said leaning on his shoulder,
"Why woudn't it?" he asked
"Because we're competitors, we're meant to compete against each other" I said,
"Can we at least try?" Chris whispered,
"Of course" I said back,
"If you really think don't think this won't work don't force yourself to say yes" Chris whispered,
"I have faith" I laughed,
"That's good" he chuckled, I guess time passed quickly and God knows how long we say there for,
"HEY LOVEBIRDS THE CAR IS LEAVING!" Grace shouted,
"Damn it I wish we could sit here for ever" Chris said hopping off and extending a hand to help me down,
"Me too" I said taking his hand, and we walked back to the car together and took a seat, for some reason I felt tired, it was probably from all the running around in the video shoot, I yawned
"Come here" Chris said extending his arm out, I scooted closer and leaned against his shoulder, soon enough I fell asleep.

I woke up to a sudden flash and a crowd of whispers,
"Madisyn! You'll wake them up!" Someone whispered,
"Woops" someone whispered, it was probably Madisyn, I opened my eyes and saw Madisyn smiling at me,
"What I'm already awake" I muttered, I felt a weight being lifted off my head,
"I'm awake" Chris said slowly lifting his head his arm still around me,
"Are you guys a thing or something?" Grace asked, Chris I looked at me, I opened my mouth to say something before Chris beat me to it,
"Let's say the plan worked" Chris said with a small smirk,
"God it's been so hard not to blurt anything out" Alexa said speaking fast,
"Technically you almost did" Grace reminded, Madisyn and Bella high fived each other and I yawned,
"Still sleepy?" Chris asked,
"Yeah I don't know why tho" I said,
"It's probably from all the running in the video shoot" Bella said, the car came to a stop and we all piled out and back into the stage venue.
"Right I hope everyone had fun today!" Mel B said,
"Tomorrow is the finals and we want you to know we are all so proud of you guys" Benji said,
"This journey has been incredible, and what ever happens tomorrow just remember how far all six of you have come" Delta said,
"So get some sleep, and get ready for the voice kids finale!" Joel said clapping, we all were about to walk out before Mel B came running after us,
"Wait wait I forgot everyone can you please go to your coach" Mel B said herding us back to the stage, Chris and Bella walked to The madden brothers, Alexa and Grace walked over to Delta and me and Madisyn stood still,
"Right girls, as you know we have a fun day tomorrow, all the coaches will be taking you guys on a special trip" Mel B said smiling,
"And I've chosen something very special! Meet here at 9:30 sharp" Mel B said to us,
"Where we going?" I asked,
"Ahh you'll have to wait! Now go get some rest, get ready for tomorrow!" Mel B said guiding us towards the door, we all said our goodbyes and I waited for my mom to pick me up, Chris came outside and put his arm around my waist,
"Hey" he said,
"Who you waiting for?" I asked,
"Your mom, she's dropping me off" he grinned,
"Right, I just want to let you know beforehand, please don't let my mom see us together I'm not ready to tell her" I pleaded,
"I won't I promise" he said pulling me into a tight hug.
"No matter what happens tomorrow night, we will still be friends right" I asked,
"We will always be more than just friends" he replied kissing my cheek. That's when things seem to fit into place, am I too distracted by him? Or would I rather focusing on achieving what I've wanted for all these years?
"Hey you ok?" Chris asked,
"Yeah I'm fine" I lied, I bit my lip and looked down, would I rather be with Chris? Or focus on winning?
