From the beginning
I knew I would love you.
Day by day
I feel you grow
Bigger
Stronger
Tougher.
So new, you are
To the big world.
Yet, you haven't
Breathed your first breath.
My heart flutters at the joys
Of meeting my precious
Gift from inside.
Excitement bursts
Through my soul
At the thought of
Your foot kicking me
From inside.
I will love you
Forever and always
My dear sweet child.
It will only grow
By the passing day.
I may be fearful
At time for the future.
I may make mistakes
Along the way.
I know that I'm not perfect.
But the love I feel for you
Is stronger then anything.
You are my light
You are my joy
You are a gift to me
