Is like a flower
The only blooms
Once a year.
Rare and radiant.

Is like embers in a fire
Glowing with passion
Fighting to stay lit.

Is tears flowing
From your heart and soul
Beckoning for relief.

Is lazy days
Wrapped in eachothers arms
Wanting to be closer
Yet Never close enough.
Love
Is fighting for each other
With every ounce of your being
Never giving in
To the hateful words
of the world.

Is the pitter patter
Of little feet across the floor
Echoing heartbeats
Close to your own.

Is fear of losing
That one person
That makes your heart
Sore through the clouds.

Is heartbreaks
Love
Is cruel
