Eleanor grinned at Harry's tiny yellow swimming shorts. She should have expected him to wear something so ridiculous that only he could pull off. They brightened up her day, quite literally.

Having spotted Harry and his date from across the beach, due to his attire, Louis and Eleanor started treading through the sand in their friends' direction. She allowed the wind to move her hair to cover her face so that Louis couldn't see the grin caused by Harry's little bathing suit adorning his toned tattoo covered body. That boy was too strange to be that gorgeous. Wait, no, Eleanor halted her train of thought as it came. She mustn't think of Harry, her friend, that way.

"Hiii!" Harry called. Eleanor smiled at the way he always seemed to elongate the 'i'.

To Eleanor's surprise, she didn't feel nearly as nervous as she had expected to be. She wasn't sure how she felt about Harry's date though. She was sitting up on her beach towel leaning back slightly on her hands as she caught the suns rays. Her white bikini showed off her tan. She was blonde and leggy and pretty. Typical for Harry. Eleanor didn't like her already.

"Hello," Louis extended his hand towards the blonde after nodding at Harry.

"I'm Charlize," She smiled and held on to Louis' hand for a bit too long for Eleanor's liking.

"Louis," he replied. "And this is my girlfriend, Eleanor." Louis pulled her into his side, placing his hand on the exposed skin of her waist. She couldn't help but start to feel uncomfortable again.

"I absolutely love your dungarees!" Charlize exclaimed, gesturing to Eleanor's overalls.

"Thanks," Eleanor smiled back, looking down at the loose denim she was using as a bathing suit coverup. The fabric cut off at the top of her thighs in a shorts style, exposing her legs to any wandering eyes. Mostly Louis', and occasionally Harry's when no one was paying attention.

She thought for a moment that maybe Charlize wasn't too bad until she watched her snake her arms around Harry's neck. Jealousy burned inside her. This was much, much stronger than the uncomfortable feeling she got from Charlize holding on to Louis' hand for too long. This stirred a strange anger, unknown to Eleanor. She couldn't remember having felt this way in a long time.

Harry stood silently, neither accepting or rejecting the way his date clung to him. Eleanor noticed the corners of his mouth downturn slightly before returning to his polite smile. This would be a long date.

The day was spent sun bathing and swimming with the occasional kiss from Louis. Harry and Louis were both pleased with the fact that they hadn't been recognized. Even with their distinctive tattoos exposed for everyone to see, not a single person had come up to ask for a photo. Eleanor didn't take notice of the way Harry would look away every time Louis kissed her. He was unable to watch even for an instant, but it was when Louis decided to pick Eleanor up and carry her that Harry decided he couldn't stand it any longer. He picked himself up from the sand and turned towards the pier in the distance.

"I'm gonna go get food," he announced and walked off along the shoreline without a glance back.

Eleanor tried to turn towards him, but Louis kept them facing away from each other as she was still in his hold. Without Harry there she felt as if her saftey net had disappeared. She needed him near her to remain calm while being smothered by Louis.

"Louis, put me down," Eleanor suddenly said in a serious tone. She wasn't sure what she was doing.

"Why?" Louis frowned down at her.

"I..." Eleanor struggled to think of an excuse and then blurted out, "I need to wee."

Louis raised his eyebrows at her blunt statement. "Oh," Louis set her back on her feet.
