Have You Ever Written a Poem

Have you ever cut yourself
Maybe slit your wrist
And watch as the blood flows out
Is it slow
Or is it fast
Usually my blood is fast
Usually it all pours out
Covering my skin and dyeing it red
I watch it seep out till its almost at its end
And then
I make another slit
This one is slower
But it's still doing it's job
The blood is still flowing
Still dyeing
The more I cut
The more I'm dyed
The slower it gets
And the less I feel
Now I'm full of scars
My wrist
Legs
Shoulders
Thighs
Stomach
Chest
Face
I'm full of scars
They all hold their own story too
Like one tells about the pain of school
Another one the pain of friends
And this one tells of parents
And that one is about love
I can go on and on about them
But why should I
I can just keep them to myself and make more
Well sharing some is fun
I'll do that then
I'll show you
And you
And...
You right there
You all can see my scars
And hear the story behind it
Telling you this beforehand though
They're all not pretty
Take this one for example
It's completely ugly
Utterly disgusting
This one holds a lot
And it's the biggest and deepest one so far

*it's not about cutting*
