Christoffer's POV
I miss Ellie so much and it's my birthday and she's not here. I'm so sad but I can't wait to see her in a few days.

About ten minutes later I hear the doorbell ring and my Mom tells me to go and take it. I actually can't believe my eyes.

"Ellie!!" I squeal, picking her up.

"Happy birthday." She smiles, hugging me.

I welcome her inside the house and she puts her things away. She gets a couple of boxes out of her case and I'm curious as to what they are.

"Here you go sweetie." Ellie smiles, handing me a small black box.

I open it and see a very expensive watch. It's the one I've been wanting for ages.
"You didn't have too." I say, kissing her cheek.

"There's one other thing." She smiles, grabbing a slightly larger box.

I unwrap that and sat there is the brand new iPhone 8. Ellie. Why?
"Seriously, Ellie what have I told you." I say, trying not to laugh.

"Well it's your 16th so I had to spoil you." She smirks, handing me one last small envelope.

"What is this?" I ask.

I have a small clue what it could be but I honestly do not know. It could be anything.
"Open it then." She says eagerly.

As I tear open the envelope, I see something which I've been looking for. My driving test certificate.

"ELLIE!" I squeal, picking her up and hugging her.

"Well done babes." She smiles, kissing me on the lips.

Her parents didn't come with her, well they came to Sweden because she's too young to fly on her own but they said they're going to Bora Bora for two weeks whilst Ellie stays with me. She doesn't know it's just me and her.

"Could you check outside sweet?" She says, kind of like a question.

I walk out and on to the drive and I see my Mom and Dads cars but there's a third one. A silver Mercedes.

"Happy birthday." Ellie says.

Then on the bonnet there's a weird shaped envelope. The car keys. This is actually my car. Wow.

I open it and there's a keyring with a picture of me and her on and also a little name tag which says Christoffer Björklund #5. How did she know that was my number??

"I love you sweetie." I smile.

"I love you too." Ellie says, grinning at me.

We head back inside and my Mom has made us a classic Swedish meal. Pickled Hering with Lutfisk (A Swedish type of fish dish).

"Ellie, don't worry if you don't like this, it's a classic Swedish meal." I say.

I absolutely love this dish but Ellie said she's surprising me tonight. I can't wait to see what else my beautiful girl has in store for me. I haven't had Pickled Hering in years. It's one of the best things that Sweden ever created.

"This is lovely." Ellie says with a smile.

"I'm glad you like it." I say, grabbing her hand across the table.

This girl is definitely who I want to spend the rest of my life with and she's definitely made my 16th one to remember.

We finish up our lunch and I know it's my birthday but I might as well take Ellie around the area of Sweden we're in. And show her the team I'm playing for.
