We got to Austins house... alive... and, of course, his parents were waiting. 'Wonderful,' I thought, 'a whole family of creeps.' He elbowed me in the ribs. "Don't say anything rude. They're both strong when it comes to fighting, but very sensitive when it comes to their feelings," he said. I replied "Whatever. Do you have any siblings?" He said "Yeah, I got a little sister, Emily." "Is she home? I'd kinda like to meet her," I asked. He replied "yeah, she's home. I'll call her when we get in." He threw me my keys.

When we got in, he took my coat and hung it up. I exclaimed "Holy crap!" He rushed over from taking my coat, to me. He grabbed me and asked, "What's the matter?!? Are you okay?!?" "This place is huge... and beautiful... and can you put me down?"I exclaimed. "I'm sorry, I thought... never mind" he said. I asked "what did you think?" He replied almost immediately "nothing. Emily will explain." Then he yelled "Hey, Em! I got you a new shopping buddy!" "Yay! Wait, you're not trying to trick me into setting the table again, are you?" she asked. Austin told me, "Yell something up to her." So I yelled upstairs "Hey... uh... Emily? My names Angelina." Suddenly, Austins phone started ringing off the hook. It was going crazy. He took the call and before you knew it, he was off again. "What was that about," I asked. He replied "my sister and I were born with super speed and strength." Before I even had time to say anything back, Emily came out of nowhere. "I'm here! Oh my god! I just love your hair" Emily said. "Well, she caught on fast to you," Austin said. His mom came in and said " Austin, honey, leave your girlfriend with your sister. Come help me with supper." When Austin replied, he sounded annoyed. " Mom, she's not my girlfriend. She's my biology partner."

While Austin left to help his mom, and explain I'm NOT his girlfriend, Emily asked me "Hey, wanna go shopping tomorrow?" I said "Sure," but barely got the words out and she  grabbed my wrist and jerked my whole body. A second later, we were upstairs in her HUGE walk-in closet. She said, "One thing you should know about our family is that we wear our pj's to breakfast, regular clothes to lunch, and dress-up fancy for dinner. Here... I got something for you to wear..." She came back a minute later. "Here, try this on," she said. "I would love to... but I've gotta get going," I replied, feeling sorry. "But can't you call your Mom? I'm sure she'll understand. Please?!?" she begged. I replied "Fine. I'll TRY. But don't get mad if she says no." I called my mom while Emily searched for a pair of shoes for me to wear.

The phone just kept ringing... finally, Mom picked up the other line. "Hello? Is that my Angel?" She sounded so panicky. "Yeah, Mom. It's me." "Oh my god! I didn't know what I'd do  if someth-" "Mom. I'm fine. I'm at my new friends house. She wants me to stay at her house the rest of the week. She's new and needs help studying for our unit exam. Please? *puppy whine*." Now I was the one begging. "Well, that's fine. But if you need anything, call me. Remember, Mommy lo-" "Yeah mom, I know! Bye!" I hung up.

I turned around to find Emily holding two pairs of shoes on my face. "Navy heals or golden flats? Yes or no?" "Golden flats and yes," I replied. "Wonderful, I'll let Austin know. Oh yeah, he doesn't wear a shirt to bed or breakfast. Is that okay?" "It's fine. I don't really mind." The dress that matched my shoes was a light blue silk with lots of ruffles and ribbons. Then Emily toyed with my hair and made it absolutely beautiful."Darlings, get dressed for supper. You have ten minutes." I helped Emily get her dress zipped. Her dress was a gorgeous navy blue silk to match her shoes. Then I curled her hair. We did each others make-up and put on jewelery. We dressed so fancy, you'd think we were going to prom. "We're gonna be best friends. Hold on. I'm gonna call my boyfriend. Don't go anywhere, okay?"

After she called her boyfriend, she came over and said " Ya know, my brother really likes you. He told me that of all of the people that he's ever liked, he likes you the most. He says there's something about you, like he's known you forever. He's always talking about 'his Angel.' I didn't know that you two weren't anything and didn't have anything." When she finished, I said " It's not that I don't like him, I do, it's that when I met him, I had that same feeling." Then she asked "then why don't you ask him out. I mean, you both like each other, yet neither of you want to admit it to one another. Please?!?" "Fine," I agreed. Emily said "Yay, thank you!!! He's gonna be so happy! I'll go tell him!" She wrapped herself in a blanket, so her boyfriend didn't get to see her dress. She came back about one minute later. "He's waiting for you in the sun room, A.K.A, the Ball Room. So is my boyfriend. His name is Justin. C'mon! Lets go!" We locked elbows and walked down the Victorian-style staircase.

While Justin and Emily greeted eachother, Austin and I made small talk. "Hello, Miss Angelina. How are you on this fine evening" he asked. How formal and polite. I almost mistook him for somebody else. He was dress better than me! He looked so cute... I shouldn't admit it to anyone though. Then we all slow danced for 20 minutes. I have to admit, though, that it felt nice to stand so close to somebody that you know cares about you. I haven't felt that way since... well, you get the idea.

Dinner was extremely quiet until Emily opened her big mouth. "Isn't Austins girlfriend so pretty," Emily asked Justin. I felt all the blood rush to my face. "Yeah, she's pretty hot." I got up and said " please excuse me." I got about halfway across the room, and suddenly stopped. I turned around to find everybody's eyes on me. " Whoa! She's really hot!!!" Justin said. I said "what are you talking about?" I then felt two different urges. 'Look at yourself.' I looked down and realized that i was on fire! The other urge told me to relax, so I did. Then the fire stopped...
