The Secret Letter

Chapter 6

Wow! I didn't realize this bed was so huge! "Oooh! Nice one! Austin'll be so happy to here this! Angie, oh wait. You don't mind if I call you that, do you," Emily asked me. Now that I was fully alert, I started to begin asking myself questions. How long has Emily been standing there? "No. It's totally fine," I replied. "Kk. Angie, come with me. I've got some pajama's you can have. I don't wear them. And I have to expla- you know what, never mind. C'mon!" Okay then! She's really anxious. 'Justin! Help! She's kidnapping me!' I sent my message to Justin and he gave me a look that told me 'Sorry! Wish I could!' And just like that she pulled me out of his room.

She pulled me to her room and tugged me into the room where she gave me my dress for supper. "Your colors are green and blue, so you can have these," she said. She handed me a pair of aqua green pj's with ruffles and blue hearts on them. She handed them to me and I was shocked at how soft they were. "They're silk," she said.

When Emily drown herself in her thoughts, I snuck out. When I got back to Justin's room, he was still trying to get it clean. "Sit down. Give me about a minute, more or less," I said. "No. I've gotta clean my room. Your not gonna let me off easy like you did my brother. He has been told to clean his room for the last 2 weeks," he said, refusing to give up. I glared at him and he looked me in the eyes. "Sit down!" He actually listened! It was then that I realized I put him in a trance! Then I went to work, cleaning everything. It actually worked! Everything was perfect! Then he snapped out of it. "You know, even though I didn't want you to clean my room for me, thank you," he said. I'm so exhausted. Unexpectedly, he swooped me up in his arms and set me down in his bed. He said "goodnight." Then he bent down and kissed the top of my head. I reached up and hugged him and kissed him in return. Maybe this life wouldn't be so hard after all.
