The Rant

Day 2

So. I was thinking, why do so many people hate video games? It builds your reflex time, it works your brain in a lot of way, it is enjoyable and a good time for friends, family, or even alone time, and it brings creativity. I don't understand why people hate them so much. Just because we play video games doesn't mean we don't do work, or that we are lazy. It just means we enjoy playing them.

Playing video games isn't something you should bash because it's a lot of people, including adults that play them. They aren't as productive as other hobbies, sure I can understand where you're coming from, but those who play video games, like me, make good progress in game and it's very rewarding.

Video games are not a bad thing. They really aren't. They are just not for other people. I'm not saying that those people have to or should like video games. I'm saying that those that hate on them and talk bad about them don't know what they're talking about. I know a lot of people that complain about the prices.

Yes, video games are very highly priced that is true. But it goes down over time and plus, if you get them pre-owned from places like GameStop then it's a fairly cheap compared to the new game that hasn't been opened once. Now consoles are pretty expensive. I can understand if you don't have the money to afford new consoles and when your kids beg for them then it can get irritating.

But that isn't a reason to hate them. Just try and save for one or tell your children to not bother you about it again and that if they do then there's not even a chance at them getting it. Boom problem solved. So video games really aren't that bad. They really, truly aren't. Now I'm gonna switch topics. There's this thing going around all over the Internet and in school's and stuff that I truly dislike. It might be my most misliked thing. That's the "Dab." I hate this new "dance" people made. It is so stupid, it's like you're sneezing and being really pumped about sneezing.

And with how many people are doing it, it gets old. Fast. I used to join everyone else when it first happened but now it's just stupid because it's gotten so bad that someone can't go five minutes without dabbing. I don't know why they find so much joy in it. I really wish someone would explain it to me. I also hate the new rap music that's being put out. I honestly do like rap. I like Eminem and he's literally the number one rapper ever.

Now people are rapping in short burst to match dabbing and I think it sounds awful. This is just my opinion. I don't like it because I'd prefer it be an actual rap song, not just repeating short bursts of rap.
