"Daddy come on," Harmony ran dragging her dad behind her. "I'm coming sweetie," Charles laughed.
Today was Harmony's eighth birthday and all she wanted was to spend the whole day with her dad. They ran to a field full of lilies. Harmony bent down and up a whole handful of lilies. She handed them to her dad,"These are for you."
"Why thank you mademoiselle," Charles bowed. Harmony giggled and bowed to.
"You silly girl," He scooped Harmony up and swung her around. He kissed her on the forehead multiple times.
"There you guys are. How are you?" Elizabeth said. Elizabeth is Harmony's mother. "We're okay," Charles kissed Elizabeth on the lips. "How's the happy birthday girl?" "I'm great," Harmony smiled up at her.
"We should be getting back to the cabin. It's almost supper time," Elizabeth led the way back home. "Wait," Harmony yelled. "What is sweetie?" Charles knelt down and grabbed her shoulders.
"I haven't said something in a while, I love you."

It was nighttime and the moon was full. When Harmony was woken up by her dad. He looked like he was in a hurry. His black hair was messed up. His breath was fast and rapid as if his was running. He had armour on from the King and Queen that clunked when he walked. His wings were shiny from sweat. He knelt down beside Harmony and said, "Harmony, darling. I'm going away for awhile to help the King and Queen. But I will be back. You keep your mom safe while I'm gone."
"Daddy! Don't leave me," Harmony wailed. She flung herself into her dad's arms. Her and her dad just stayed there in that moment which seemed like forever. Her tears rolled down her cheek onto her night gown. She looked into her dad's eyes that were shiny from tears. "Harmony, do you want me to tell you a story about you?" her dad asked.
Harmony nodded as she wiped her tears away and flattened her nightgown. "There was a Earth Fairy named Harmony. Her eyes were as pink as the leaves on a magnolia tree. Her hair was glistening gold like the Queen Mariah's crown. Her wings were green and brown like the Bilco tree where Queen Mariah and King Philip lives. She was curious, brilliant, brave, and she was nice to everyone even if they weren't nice back. She made the Earth Fairy Kingdom nice and happy. Even though there is trouble she got through it," her dad whispered.
He reached down and swiped strands of hair from her face. "Daddy, I have a question before you leave," Harmony sobbed.
"You can ask me anything you want," her dad said.
"Why do all the fairies have different wings?" Harmony questioned.
"Thats a good question darling. Everybody has their own answer, but I think it's because we are all different. No one can or will be exactly like each other. So nature made fairies show that from their wings. Just like me and you don't have the same wings. You have more green than brown on your wings. I have more brown than green on my wings. I have to leave now darling. Bye. I love you," her dad answered.
He kissed on the forehead and left. Harmony went to the doorway with her mom and waved goodbye. Her dad turned around and blew a kiss. Then he went with the other group of fairies and left into the forest. Her and her mom curled up in a blanket by the fire for the rest of the night. A couple minutes later screams came from the forest. "Help! Somebody help!" A stranger hollered.
The voice started trailing off, so no one could hear. Harmony and her mom ran to see what was going on. Fire consumed the forest surrounding the village. People ran out of the forest where their home used to stand. People were covered in smog and coughing out ashes. Fairies were scattered around asking what was going on. Children were crying and hugging their parents wondering what's going on.
"Mommy, what is happening?" Harmony asked.
