"While we're stormed in, we can keep looking for the snake. This time I won't scare you, but your face was hilarious!" Dante planned.
"I was not scared. I was startled," Harmony protested.
"Believe what you want, honey," Dante laughed.
Harmony giggled to herself trying not to show Dante she was laughing. "Let's stop talking and get to work. Show me where you found that snake skin. That's the first clue of where the snake is," Harmony said.
Dante walked down one hallway which was to the right of Harmony. Dante was graceful over the rocks while Harmony kept on stumbling. At the end of the hallway Dante opened a door that had stairs going down behind it. "Here we are. It's on the second door to the right," Dante told Harmony.
Harmony crept past Dante down the stairs. She found the door and went inside. A snake skin was on the other side of the door. The snake skin was about as wide as a fairy at its middle. It swirled all around the room. It didn't cover the whole room because Dante ripped the head off. "Okay. Lets check where the head used to be. Yay, I said it. Used to," Harmony mimicked.
Dante rolled his eyes at Harmony while he moved around the snake. Harmony walked along the walls seeing if there was a clue to where the real snake was. Carvings of the planets were along the walls. Harmony ran her fingers along the planets. She kept on going until she fell. "Agh! Dante come here. I found something," Harmony said as she rubbed her ankle.
"What is it?" Dante asked.
"It's a hole in the wall. I found it when I got my foot stuck and fell," Harmony explained.
"I guess out could say you fell twice today. Haha!" Dante laughed.
"Shut up!" Harmony yelled.
"Haha! Let's start chipping at this wall to see where the hole goes. I'll go first then you can finish it off," Dante explained.
"Got it," Harmony answered.
Dante grabbed a rock and started hitting the wall. Rocks and pebbles fell from where he was hitting. Harmony turned around and went to see Sapphire. "Hey girl. How are you?" Harmony asked.
Sapphire neighed as in yes. "Dante and I found a clue to where the snake is. Dante is working on it right now," Harmony replied.
"Harmony! It's your turn to break the wall!" Dante yelled.
"I have to go. I'll be back," Harmony told Sapphire.
Harmony trotted to the room where the snake skin was. Half the wall was broken but not big enough for them to fit through. She grabbed a rock and started pounding on the wall. After a while a hole big enough for them appeared.
"Grab a lantern and let's head in," Dante ordered.
Harmony picked up a lantern and shivered. She had a bad feeling about it. "Dante, have your dagger at ready. Something dangerous could be behind that wall," Harmony explained.
"Don't be a scaredy cat," Dante said.
"Ugh, fine. Just be ready for anything," Harmony protested.
They crept through the hole with mice and spiders scattering around their feet. Dante coughed as dust that had been their for a long time swirled around. "This is...weird," Dante stuttered.
"Look! This trail has no dust and it looks like a snake. It must be fresh. Let's follow it," Harmony showed as she bent down.
A trail of clear flooring spread in front of them. It swerved from left to right. They followed it slowly down the hallway until it came to a stop. "It's a bare wall. How are we supposed to get through? The trail stops here and doesn't turn," Harmony asked.
"It must be like my cave. There must be a secret button to get through. Ha! There it is!" Dante observed.
Dante grabbed a random sun that was sticking out. He turned and pushed it. The wall slid upwards to open another hallway. "Why'd you pick that one out of all of these?" Harmony pointed.
Other suns, different sizes and shapes, were surrounding that sun. "If you look closely you can see that it's sticking out more and there's a gap around the sun. Wait, how did the Slitheren Vilpi get through this door. It must be smarter than we think," Dante observed.
"Stop talking and just get in the hallway," Harmony said.
Harmony grabbed Dante's jacket and flung him in the hallway. "Ouch! My buttocks hurts!" Dante screeched.
"Haha! You whine like a baby girl," Harmony giggled.
Harmony reached down and lifted Dante up. They walked down the hallway and at the end peeked around the corner. "There it is. Let's just kill it, grab the poison and wait for the storm to pass. Lets aim for its head because it's the weakest part," Harmony explained.
Harmony tip-toed across the room trying not to step on the snake. Dante stayed close behind. Harmony tripped and fell on the snake. Dante just stared in fear. The snake eyes popped open to shine a bright lime green. The Slitheren Vilpi lifted its head that just touched the roof. "Run!" Dante screamed.
Harmony stumbled off the snake and ran for her life. She swung around the corner just as the snake lunged for her. Harmony ran down the hallway Dante right in front of her. They ran into the dining room. Dante jumped onto the table and attacked the Slitheren Vilpi. He plucked its eyeball out. The snake hissed in pain. Harmony climbed up a mound of rubble and jumped at it. The snake swung its tail at Harmony with an extreme force. Harmony flew into the wall. Harmony cried In agony. The snake grabbed Harmony in its mouth and shook her like a play toy. Dante yelled,"Harmony! No!"
Dante ran at the snake while Harmony was going limp. Dante leaped and stabbed it right in the head. It just clenched down even harder. The Slitheren Vilpi flipped Harmony into the air. Harmony fell head first into the ground. She ran unconscious.<<<~~~~>>>
"Dante come on. The jail is right there," Harmony whispered. Harmony and Dante were hiding behind a giant rock. Dante looked over the rock to see a lot of Dark Fairies.
"I want to get there as much as you but we have to be careful. They are people roaming around that could kill us," Dante replied.
Dante snuck to another rock and waved Harmony over. Harmony crouched down and started walking to him. "Hey! You over there. You're not supposed to be here," a guard yelled.
Harmony stopped right in her tracks. "Run!" Dante screamed.
Harmony bolted to Dante as he sprang and tackled a guard. He stabbed him right in the neck. He jumped off and sprinted to catch up with Harmony. He ran beside Harmony when two guards popped. "Shot. Duck," Harmony called to Dante.
Harmony slide under the guards arms which had crossbows. Dante followed right behind. "Harmony, let's split up. One of us will surely have to get to the jail." Dante explained. "Oka...Ugh," Harmony crashed to the ground.
Harmony flipped over to see an arrow stuck in her calf. Harmony got back up and limped to Dante. She got shot by another arrow in the back of her thigh. She couldn't handle the pain so she just dropped. "Harmony come on there is an opening over there. Harmony. Harmony," Dante spun around to see arrows sticking out of Harmony.
Dante ran to Harmony and put her head in his lap. "Harmony, come on let's get back to the portal. We don't have to save my people. We have to go and get you back to health," Dante insisted.
"No! You go without me. I will just hold you down and both of us will die," Harmony told Dante. "Don't say that! We can both survive this," Dante picked Harmony up and started running. Harmony struggled to get away so that Dante could survive. He wouldn't let go of her so she kicked him in the gut. He dropped her and grabbed his stomach. "Ouch. Why'd you do that?" Dante asked.
"I did it so you would let go of me. You need to go. I'd rather I get caught then both of us," Harmony answered. "But...," Dante got cut off by Harmony. "No questions. You go, I stay. If you stay I haunt you from my grave. Mm, mm, mm. See what I did there. I'm about to die and I try to be happy. So go," Harmony ordered.
Dante stared her straight in the eyes. He couldn't bare it anymore so he turned away. He started walking to the exit he told Harmony about. He turned around for just a slight second to take a last look at Harmony, then he kept going. "Don't walk! Run! Get away as fast as you can from here!" Harmony yelled.
Dante followed her instructions and ran, ran as quick as his legs could go. Harmony started using magic to create a barrier made out of trees and vines. She smiled knowing that Dante would be safe because they would go for her. She saw Dante turn the corner as the barrier covered the last hole.
She pulled the arrows out and whimpered with every tug. She put her knees up to her chest and let her chin rest on it. The guards finally reached Harmony and started breaking the barrier. She was silent the entire time. When the guard reached her they blindfolded her and knocked her out.
When she woke up her blindfold was off. She swung her head around and the cage was lowering down into lava. "No! This can't be happening! It can't end like this! No!" Harmony hollered as she was dunked in the lava.
