Lani heaved a huge sigh as she woke up, stretching her arms above her head. Rolling over, she found Calum sitting up, a mug of coffee in his hand. He looked up from his phone and grinned at her. "G'morning."

She hummed in response, sitting up as well.

"Here, princess, I made you coffee." Calum handed her the mug sitting on his nightstand, still warm.

"I feel like a princess after this treatment," she joked, taking the mug. She brought it to her lips and took a sip, the warm liquid sliding down her throat, its familiarity a comfort in this odd situation.

"How'd you sleep?" Calum asked. He set his phone and mug down on the nightstand, turning to give Lani his full attention.

"Great, thanks." Lani smiled at him again.

He smiled back, his eyes calculating as he stared at her. Lani set the mug down on the other nightstand.

"We should probably talk," the two said in unison. They broke into a fit of laughter.

"You first," Calum pushed.

Lani nodded.

"I just want to say I'm so sorry for everything. Sorry about Belgium, sorry about the tour, sorry about last night. Cal, I didn't mean for anything to happen the way it did. I know it's sort of ridiculous, but I never wanted any of the stuff that happened between us to happen at all. It wasn't until I was landing in LA all those years ago that I though 'fuck.' Because I need you. I need your safety and I need your love and I need your kindness and humor. I need you, because I am so in love with you. Calum, I love you so much it hurts. You're like this disease inside of me, you're in me. I can't eat, I can't breathe, I can't sleep without thinking of you. What I want to say is I know you probably hate me after everything but-"

Lani was cut off by Calum pressing his lips against hers, hard. His hands cupped her cheeks while their lips molded together in the first kiss they had shared in almost two years. When they finally did pull apart, it was only because they were both in need for air. Calum's forehead rested against Lani's, his soft eyes looking into hers.

"You were rambling," he mumbled, his breaths hitting her lips.

"I was?" She asked, her mind full of jumbled thoughts.

He hummed in response, pressing multiple kisses to her lips.

"Does this mean you still love me?" She whispered against his lips.

Lani squealed as Calum flipped her over so that she was lying on her back, laughter bubbling out of her throat. He held himself up on his arms, hovering above her, the biggest grin on his face.

"Alana Cornelia Joseph, I have never stopped loving you," he breathed.

"I can't be your main love though. I mean, have you seen the way you look at cookies?" Lani joked. She wasn't sure why she hadn't just grabbed him and kissed the life out of him, showing him how much she loves him back; Lani wasn't good in high pressure situations.

Calum stared at her in disbelief for a moment before bursting into laughter. Shaking his head above her, his dark hair hung from his head.

"I'm trying to be serious and romantic here and you ruin it by being a moron," he said.

Lani laughed, pulling his face down to meet her grinning lips.

"Calum Thomas Hood," she said against his lips. "I love you, too."

"Only me?" He asked, a cheeky grin on his lips.

"Only you."
