Chp 14: Caught Up

For these past few weeks Michael has been ignoring me and he hasn't come to school. I don't know what I did to him but I know I can't stress over it. I feel like this niggah "King" getting closer and closer.

But I ain't gone lie I was falling hard for Michael now it's like I don't even exist to him but I been staying on top of my hustle and trying to catch King before he catch me. I was slipping when I was messing with Michael but right now "I'm back and I'm better." Lol

I have my men on top of everything trying to find this niggah. We been hitting each other back to back. He stole once I strike twice as hard but then he would come back harder.

I mean it's been like a real live war. We have hit so many of his men but it seem like they keep popping up out the wood work, but he don't know I stay down with the niggahs.

Michael

I been dodging Jessica for the past few weeks. I decided not to kill her but just stay away from her. I care too for her to kill her. I wouldn't say I'm in love with her but in deep like with her. But that's over with now.

I been in a full out street war with this niggah T-Baby. He coming just as hard as I am but I ain't giving up.

The thing about it is I can't get Jessica out my mind like maybe she got a cousin with the name T-Baby or something. Imma talk to her face to face to see if she lie to me about what she got going on with this T-Baby person.

I'm finna call and tell her to meet up with me somewhere.

"Hello"

"Hey, ma"

"Don't Hey, Ma me. You been ignoring me for the past few weeks and I don't even know what I did wrong. I been calling and texting you but I don't chase no niggah so I stopped."

" I'm sorry, aight?"

"Yeah whatever."

"No foreal, meet me somewhere so we can talk."

"Hell Nawl, You think just because you call and tell me you sorry I'm just supposed to come running back to you. Hell No, it don't work like that."

"I'm coming to pick you up. Be ready in five minutes."

"Yeah yeah, whatever." Click

Since when did she start hanging up the phone in my face. Oh I'm definitely gonna have to check that ass.

He think just because he call and apologize everything alright. Nahhh baby.
But I'm gonna get ready so I can see what he gotta say.

Five Minutes Later

Ding Dong
I just got finished putting on my clothes. I decide to leave my hair in a curly bushy afro since I ran out of time.

I go open the door and he standing there looking sexier than a bowl of chocolate ice cream.

But I'm not gonna tell him that.

"Hey, Ma"

"Hey Michael"

"Let's roll out okay."

"Hell nawl, ain't shit sweet"

"Man, come on. I just wanna talk to you. Please."

"Aight, Hold on"

I turn around and get my purse and keys.

This niggah better feed me and have a good ass explanation.

We get in the car and got to this restaurant about four blocks from the school. It's a spot that everybody hangs out at.

"Hello, Table for Two???" The waitress asks eyeing Michael like he the last piece of meat and she been stuck in the jungle for weeks without food.

He seems to catch on and says "Yes, Can me and my GIRLFRIEND get a table with some privacy." Putting emphasized on the word girlfriend.

She turns, looks me up and down, rolls her eyes and says "Follow Me." I was about to say something until Michael grabbed my waist and kissed my forehead and whispered "Calm Down" in my ear.

"Someone will be with you in a moment." She says with an attitude and then walks off.

Less than a minute a later a girl in a too small waitress outfit walks over eyeing Michael like she knows him or something.

"Hey King, I haven't seen you in here in awhile."

When those words leave her mouth the wheels in my brain start turning.

I know this ain't niggah ain't King.

Not King, King.
Not MY King.

But he would be the only King, I ain't met in this city.
FUCK!

I been fraternizing with the enemy. And I been falling for him like a dumb ass when he was playing me the whole time and he probably finna kill me. This whole thing probably a setup.

I get up to walk out.

He grabs my hand, looks at me and says "Where you going, Ma?" With this evil ass glint in his eye.

"Lord Jesus Help Me!!!" I say in my head looking in his eyes.

I done got Caught Up.....
