Chapter 15: Confusion

As I look in his eye he got a crazy gleam in them and no lie I'm freaking scared right now. This shit could be a set up. I stay strapped but I ain't got no back up.

He look like he know something but if he wanted to kill me why didn't he just do it back at the house with no witnesses.

"I need to go to the restroom." I say looking at him.

"Okay, go 'head ma, I'll wait for you to come back before I order."

"Ok"

I walked to the bathroom and tried to calm my nerves. Like maybe he don't know anything and it's just a coincidence.

I walked back out to the table to see him doing something with his phone.

"You ready to order?"

"Yeah"

After the waitress came back over and we ordered we just talked while we waited, but there was a heavy tension.

When the food came we just ate in silence until he broke it.

"I got a question for you ma."

"Okay, what is it???" I said but it sounded weak.

"Are you talking to anybody else???"

"No"

"You sure, ma???"

"Yeah"

This whole time I been acting like wasn't anything wrong. I can tell she got scared when that girl said my name. So maybe she didn't know who I was but I'm finna get to the bottom of it.

When I told her I had a question for and she asked what it was, her voice sounded weak.

When I asked did she talk to anyone else she said no. So I asked her was she sure she said yeah.

Maybe she not talking to nobody else. I need to ask her who she work for then. Shit I wondered how she provided for herself with no parents.

"Who you work for, ma???"

" I work as a secretary for a law firm part time or just whenever they need me, See here's my badge."

"Oh for real? That's cool as fuck. What's the name? I might need y'all if I get into some trouble." I say while laughing.

She told me the name and took out her badge. That shit was legit because some of my lawyers belong to that firm.

I couldn't ask her nothing else about where she work without her suspecting something and maybe I heard wrong on the phone.

Damn, I almost fucked up something good.

After that shit, we just talked and kicked it for the rest of the night

After I told him where I work part time he seemed to relax and the tension was gone. For the rest of the night everything went normal. I was so happy he didn't know who I was.

When we got to the house he gave me a kiss goodbye and went on his way.

As I laid in bed I was wondering what I was gonna do with this new found information because I have mad feelings for him.

Im supposed to be taking over his empire but instead I'm thinking about the sound of his voice and the color of his eyes.

Im suppose to be ending his life but instead I'm daydreaming about every kiss we've ever had.

He suppose to be my enemy  but I think I'm in love with him.

Ain't this some shit?

I'm so confused!!!!

What the fuck should I do???
