That morning when I woke I found my mother hovering over me looking anxious. I sighed rolling my eyes at her and went to get ready for a painful but happy day. The first transformation was incredibly painfully. My mom huffed at me and went downstairs to fix breakfast while I turned on my phone's playlist smiling as Chloe by EMBLEM3 came on. I knew my singing voice was amazing so I wasn't afraid to bleat it loud while dancing around my room. Today, since I would be in the woods most the day, I decided to wear some sweat pants and a tank top. I tied my hair into a messy bun on the back of my head. Then I proceeded to go down to the huge kitchen for some grub. I was normally the cook in this house. My grandmother had loved to cook and taught me all her secrets whereas my mom never really got into it.

"This is good mom." I told her knowing she didn't believe my lie. She mumbled something unintelligent while I stared off into space wondering what the day was to bring for me. Not long after breakfast my mom and I where out in the woods waiting for me to change. It was to happen at the time I was born which made me happy I wasn't one of those people born at 5 am because come on that was early and I wasn't up to getting up at 5 am just to go through some pain.  I was born at 2:14 pm and right now it was 2:13 pm. Right when the clock changed my back arched and I shuddered trying to hold back the scream that threaten to come out of my mouth. I bit my lip hard as I fell to the ground with uncontrollable spasms going throughout my limbs.

Pain was everywhere and I couldn't escape it wondering how the others managed to go through this and then go to school the next day and tell all the curious soon to be wolves that it was nothing. It felt as if my skin was being melted off my body and then healing itself just in time for it to happen all over again. My bones creaked and broke a thousand times over as I begged my mom and God for death to take me.

I woke sometime later to be lower to the ground and then I realized there was no more pain. I reached to pat myself on the back for making it through only to find that I couldn't. My arms and legs gone. Replaced with furry paws and then I felt all the air leave my lungs. I was a wolf! Finally! What I'd waited for my whole life. I ran until I reached a nearby stream and as I went to take a drink from it I saw myself reflected back to me.  I was breathtaking. My fur was a shinny deep brown with huge beautiful eyes shinning down.  I smiled at myself and felt my tail wag. It was a weird feeling but I suppose I would soon become accustom to it.
