CONNER (I KNOW THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED JK)

“John don’t take this to heart but what are you thinking?” We were at school and I was waiting on Tris.  John on the other hand thought he was waiting on Jordan.  Jordan wasn’t the dating type.  She has dated two people in her life.  One being in the 9th grade when she wanted to “try” out a relationship and the other being with me and both ended badly.  She wasn’t an exclusive kind of person.  John thought he could change her but he was going to get his heart broken in the in.

“I’m going to make her mine.  She wants me, she told me!”  He wasn’t the first one she’s said that to.  She was a helpless flirt.  I could make out Tris’s form as she advance on me.

“Hey, baby,” she said placing a small peck on my lips.

“Where’s Jordan?”  John inquired of her before I could even greet her.

“She’s already here.  At her locker I think.”  That confused me because John and I have been at the front entrance for a while.  She must have seen John and went in a different door.  We all worked together to Tris’s and Jordan’s lockers.  Jordan was leaning against hers with one foot up and a boy leaning over her.  It was Jason, the head human; he was also the quarterback of the football team.

“Jordan!”  John yelled coming forward while I shook my head.  This wasn’t going to end good.

“What?”  She sounded annoyed at being interrupted.

“What are you doing?”

“Flirting?  Try it some time.”

“I thought you were with me?”  John’s face was hard to look at and I cringed.

“I never said that.”

“We’ve been on like five dates and yesterday you had me come over for a movie.”

“So?  In what world is dating the same thing as boyfriend/girlfriend?”  Jason was smirking at John and I was getting angry.

“It does in my book.”  John said glaring at the human.

“I’m sorry, John, if I made you feel as if we were exclusive.  I just don’t do that.  I like my options open.”  She smiled up at Jason then and John huffed and stormed off.

“Now where were we?”  Jason asked Jordan making her giggle as he flirted some more.

TRIS

I couldn’t feel bad for John.  I tried but I just couldn’t.  It’s not like no one knew about Jordan’s view on guys and relationship.  Plus we all warned him that this would happen.  It was lunch time and I sat beside Conner at the high ranking werewolf table with John on my other side.  He was kissing some she-wolf and stopping long enough to see if Jordan was looking, which she wasn’t.

Jordan sat on Jason’s lap and kissed up his neck while he rubbed her back.  I rolled my eyes at this.  I knew she wasn’t doing this to make anyone jealous.  If anything she is trying to prove a point.  She’s showing everyone that she is her own person and be with whomever she wants.  She was kind of coming off as a slut though.

“I love you,” I looked up and smiled at Conner.  He loved me.

“I love you, more.”

“Training will start in one week.  We must wait for our ally pack to come and train with us.  The Dark Moon Pack will be here in six days.  You all will report to the meeting place in the woods at 6:00 p.m. Sunday so we can welcome them all.  You all know that it is a disrespect to look up when an Alpha is being introduced.  So be prepared.”  Conner informed all the members of the pack. We all nodded and he smiled satisfied ending the pack meeting.

Jordan ran into the room franticly.

“Where have you been?  This was a mandatory meeting!”  Conner asked her as a hush went over the crowd.

“I’m sorry, I tried to make it.  There was an attack.  We have to have a traitor because that’s the only way the opposing pack must have known that we were in a meeting.”  Everybody looked to the Alpha with shocked faces.  “There were injuries and deaths.  Children and mates lay dead out there.  The remaining wolves out of the meeting, with my help managed to drive them back.”  Her voice started to tremble as her words actually set in.

“It’s not pretty out there.”  She ended before everyone started yelling.
