The Faithful Meeting

A young teenage girl named Scarlett was getting ready for her first day of school. "I hope I'm not late!" She thought to herself. She ran outside while shouting goodbyes to her family. She stopped and remembered to check on her dogs. There's a well that is near their dog house and she always made sure that they never fell in.
Once she got there, she saw all 3 of her dogs huddled towards the well. "What's wrong, boys?" She asked them and looked into the well. She saw bones there and felt herself shivering in fear. "B-Bones?! Who died in there?!" She yelled. She leaned in to take a closer look at it. The bones didn't look like they belonged to humans. One of her dogs passed by her and bumped into her, pushing her into the well. She screamed as she fell in.

Inuyasha and Kagome were living happily with their 3 kids. Their kids were already old enough to go on hunts for demons so they let them go. Their second eldest son, Yoshito, wanted to stop by the BoneEater's well before going off to hunt. He looked exactly like Inuyasha. The only difference was that his hair was shorter, reaching his neck. "It would really be cool if I went on adventures like mom and dad did...It must've been fun..." He thought to himself. Just then, his ears twitched as he heard a faint screaming growing louder and louder. "Is that...a girl screaming...? Where is it coming from?!"

Kagome's eyes widened and she looked worried. "You okay, Kagome?" Inuyasha asked her. "I....I sense the sacred jewel...." She said softly. "What?! But I thought it was gone forever! It can't be the jewel!" Inuyasha exclaimed. "It's back...I don't know how, but it's back..." Kagome said.

Scarlett flew right out of the well, still screaming. Yoshito looked up and saw her going higher into the air, then quickly falling. He caught her just in time but the girl seemed very frightened and wouldn't let go of him. "She's wearing strange clothing...." He thought. Scarlett lifted her head from his shoulder. The first thing she noticed right away was his dog-like ears. "Wow! Are those real?!" She asked before quickly leaned closer to him to touch them. His face started to heat up because of how close she was to him. "H-Hey! Back off!" He yelled as he slapped her hand away. "I'm sorry...I can't believe they're real..." She got off of his arms and pulled out something from her backpack. She handed him an apple. "Thank you for catching me." She said as she smiled kindly. Yoshito hesitantly took the apple and said, "It's no problem, really." That's when Scarlett realized that she wasn't at her backyard. "Where am I?!" She panicked as she turned to see all the trees surrounding them. "You're outside of the village," Yoshito said as he took a bite of the apple. "Village?!" Scarlett yelled, confused. Kagome ran towards them and stopped immediately once she saw Scarlett. Inuyasha was right behind her and noticed the way Kagome was looking at the girl. He also noticed that she was dressed in clothing that looked a lot like the clothes from Kagome's time. Scarlett was wearing her uniform for her school, which was a grey shirt with the school's logo on it, and a khaki skirt. "Who are you?" Kagome asked Scarlett. "My name is Scarlett. I don't know how I got here. Do you know how I can get back home?" Scarlett said. "The only way for you to get back to your time is for you to go through the well again." Kagome answered. Scarlett started heading towards the well.

"Wait!" Kagome yelled. Scarlett turned to face her. "Is the jewel back?!" She asked. "What jewel?" Scarlett asked. "The Shikon Jewel!"
"I don't know about any Shikon Jewel..." Scarlett replied. Kagome takes a closer look at her and sees the jewel in one of her legs. I wonder how it got into her legs...It's like when the jewel was inside me....I didn't know how it got inside of me, and nobody knew why it was inside of me.... Kagome thought. "Do you think you could stay a bit longer? We need to talk to the priest about how the jewel ended up inside you." Kagome said. "A jewel is inside of me?!" Scarlett panicked. "Yes and I would like to know why so I need you to stay." Kagome replied. "Um, ok I guess...." Scarlett said.
