Unraveling Time

Chapter 15

"W-what! Really?" I say happily.

"Yep, but dont get too happy...the materials are rare." Emily says.

"So? As long as I get to live and have a fresh start." 

"Okay...but you wont be able to see Blaze, but you can still link with him."

I look over to Blaze and he has a sad face, but when he seems me, he has a small smile. 

"It'll be okay, we still can talk to each other!" I say. "Emily. What do we need?" 

"Alright...you will need this rare stone. Its called eathin. You prob never heard of it...but you find it deep in the mountians. But it has this black/silver look. So when you see it, you'll know."

"Alright...anything else?" I say 

"You will need this black tart. Its found in volcanoes. You will have to mix both and drink it."

"Im fine with that." I say. I turn around and grabs Blazes hand. "Come on! Lets go!"

Once we reach outside, I turn to Blaze. "Lets start looking. Ill look in the mountians and you look in the volcanoes."

"Okay..." Blaze whispers. "Ill get Silver so she can help you."

About an hour later, we all meet up. Silver and I pair up as we go to the mountians. Once we fly their, we get started right away. 

"How long do you think it'll take?" I ask

"Im guessing awhile...but itll be fine!" She says with a smile. 

A few hours go by as Silver speaks up.

"So....Are you and Blaze a thing?"

"What? No! Are you crazy? We meet a couple weeks ago!" I say. "Id guess that you two are a thing."

"Really? No. We are just good friends."

"Mhhmm." I say as we continue digging again.

About a few days pass, and we all cant find anything. But while we look, Silver and I make a nice bond between us. Its been awhile since ive had a good friend...Its nice. 

Another week passes, and still nothing. 

"Why does this take so long?" I ask Silver angry. 

"Whoa man, calm down. Emily told us it was rare."

"I guess your right."

Silver pulls out some chocolate and hands me some.

"Thank you! It feels like ive been craving this forever!"

"No problem." Silver says with a smile.

A few minutes pass as my phone buzzes. I pick it up and press call.

"Hello?" I say into the phone.

"Hey! Its Blaze! I found the tart!" 

"Really?!? Thank you so so so! Much." 

"Of course! Lets meet up at the end of the day." He says as he hangs up. 

As the sky darkens, we head back down and collects the tart.

"Ill put it in a safe place okay?" I say

"Okay, good. We dont want anyone to get their hands on this." Blaze says. 

The day ends as i put it into a little locked box I have and hides it as I put the key around my neck. 

We go up the hills the next day with no luck as I grow more and more impatient with the sun rising and the darkness covering, over and over again. We go deeper in the montains this time, and try our best to go faster. A couple hours pass with the feeling of sticky sweat surrounding me. 

I turn to Silver. "Can we go back home and wash up, its getting really warm out here." I say

"Come on! Just keep on digging a little bit longer. The more we work, the faster we will find it."

"Ughhh, fine. I guess your right." I say as I continue digging. 

As a few more hours pass by, with the darkness of the sky creeping in, my heart stops a little when I feel my self hit something hard. I dig around the material, as I throw the other brown rocks behind me. I see the hard material coming into sight. Just like Emily said, I see a black and silver odd shaped rock in front of me. 

"Hey silver! Come here! Do you think this is it?" I yell

Silver comes over and looks over my shoulder. "It looks like what Emily told us about. So yeah, it probably is!"

"Great!" I say. "We should probably meet up with Blaze and mix them together!"

As the day ends, we meet up with Emily as she gets the ingredients mixed up and stirred together. She walks back into the room and hands me a brown bowl with black tart in it.
"Are you ready for this?" Emily says.

"I was never ready for any of this...but ready as I'll ever be." I say as I smile.

Emily hands me a bowl and I cup it in my hands. I look over to Blaze and Silver. "Don't worry" I say as I take a sip and I start coughing it up. I take a deep breath as I try my best to chug it down. My head gets a nagging pain as the world starts spinning in front of me. I feel myself stumble and fall as I hear people yell my name as they reach for me as the darkness seeps in.
