ThumpThump
Thump
Thumps echo through my brain
Pounding in my head.
My heart beats rapidly as the room stays dark. Silver and Blaze left me. Alone. Lights off. I'm going to wake up, right?
Like no way they were just pretending the whole time. This has to be some kind of messed up joke. They wouldn't do this to me. But it makes sense. Emily. She went crazy, so can they.
Thump. Thump. Thump. My heart races as I wiggle my little body on the cold metal table I'm lying on. But it's no use. Nothing budges.
Thumps echo. My heart beats faster and faster as I realize that this is reality. I never had a dream feel so real. So maybe this isn't a dream. My eyes shoot from place to place even though I can't see anything. Maybe I'll see a shadow? I keep on wiggling. I shiver intensely as I'm almost naked and on a stone cold table. I slowly move my ankle to start bending my knees, but my feet are tightly strapped. I can't do anything but shiver. I can't curl up. I can't hug my knees. I can't make body heat besides shivering. I hear clanging echo through my head, unknowingly. Then soon realize it's my teeth chattering. My teeth ache. It feels like my teeth are going to break and fall off.
Running out of options, I shake my body as hard as I can. The tables tiny wheels move a inch. They squeak. I gasp in relief that there may be a way out. I keep on shaking my body as much as I can. Maybe I can make the table fall and I can get out. I go back and forth and every inch of my tiny, weak body aches. I feel the table move more. The wheels go up, and the table goes down, but it comes back with a loud crash, spreading through my ears. I try to cover my ears...but they won't budge. Stupid of me. The darkness greats me again. Dark. Pitch black. Empty. I feel weak. Small. Useless. Hopeless. Helpless.
Salty liquid starts forming in my eyes. It rolls down my ice cold cheek. Several follow, reaching my neck and then my chest. Some roll off the corner of my eyes, onto the side of the table. I shake even more. Everything hits me. Like a dark, cold wave. My parents. The crash. The betrayal. The kidnappings. The death. How the stench still lingers in my brain. Blaze...he...he was there for me. Cared for me. Made sure I ate when I just wanted to starve myself. Even though I thought I was just going crazy with the voice in my head...just saying that sounds crazy.
Blaze...helped me. So much. And he...same with Silver. We were becoming really great friends. I haven't had one in a long time. I mean like ever. What do they want from me? Am I just entertainment? Some way to pass the time in a psychotic way? The tears start tattooing my face and my neck. My nose runs and itch. If only I could wipe them. I was so close to pushing the table. So close. Maybe I can try again. I give in a deep breath. My chest gives out a sharp pain, but I continue anyway.
I start with trying to push my body to the right as much as I can, then lunge left. The table gives out a big wobble but still stays on all four wheels. I grunt in frustration. I start to go to the right again, but a large clang starts near the door. Then the door starts slowly opening. The big thick metal door opens. Bright yellow lights shine through the room. If I was able to, I'd shield my eyes.
Two dark shadows enter the room. I see a hand move and the whole room lights up white. Now I really wish I could cover my eyes. All I can do is squint. First I see a smaller shape. Silver. Then taller, Blaze. Standing there. Grinning like last time. No. No. No. I don't know what they will do to me. I try to crunch up but I can't. I shake my head. Not knowing what to do. Silver steps up first.
"Good morning, Galaxy!" She says with a slight giggle. "How'd you sleep?" She knows very well I didn't get any all night. Just thinking about sleep makes my eyes droop.
"Nuh uh uh! No falling asleep on me!" She says as she notices my actions.
Blaze steps up behind her and puts his hand on her shoulder. "We can wake her up." He says, smiling like Silver. "Shall we get started?"
"Mhhm hm!" She says as a yes, excited.
Please don't do what I think you are going to do. No. No. No. I repeat as I see her walk over to the same type of table I am on and wheels it over. But this time...its a variation of knifes. I try to pull in the opposite direction of her, but it's no use.
"Please Silver." I whimper, "We used to be friends."
"HA!" Silver yells loudly. "Friends? Oh honey. I'm sorry to break your heart, but I was just pretending."
I look over to Blaze.
"Seriously?" He says, "Who would ever be friends with you?" He scoffs.
I feel my heart drop. I trusted my life with these people. No...they aren't people. They are monsters. Silver interrupts my thoughts and pulls a sharp, shiny, long knife. She holds it up to her face and I can see my reflection in it. Dirt, tears and blood cover my face. I look hideous. My eyes wide, searching for some explanation. Blaze laughs as he sees my reaction, seeing my reflection. I quickly look away.
"Now, let's really get started!" Silver squeals as she positions the knife at a 90 degree angle. I wiggle as it gets close to my pale, bare stomach.
"No! Please!" I yell out in mercy. I wish she would just end it. But I know she wouldn't let me go that easy.
In a slow motion, she makes the knife in contact of my stomach. The tip piercing my skin. I cringe at the feeling. Then the knife digs in. Crimson red drips down the side of my stomach. I gag. Scream. Loud, high pitch noise created by me as she twists the knife. More dark red liquid pours from my stomach. I breath heavily as I continue to cry out in agony.
Silver faces me, and hands a knife to Blaze. "So are we having fun yet?"
