Unraveling Time

Chapter 19

My eyes widen as I see both silver and Blazes hands tied up to the ceiling. I quickly run to them and I see their chests slowly rising. I try to pull the ropes down to get them out.
"Do you really think I'll let you do that?" I hear Emily say as she giggles. Before I can do anything, everything I feel myself fall as everything turns black.

I slowly lift my eyes open as my body is aching in pain. I look at my surroundings as I see Silver and Blaze next to me. I start to panic but my arms are up and tied to the ceiling too. I try to swing my self but I feel to weak to move. Whatever Emily gave to me to make me pass out must be strong. Death lingers in the air. I just want to be home again.

I close my eyes and take a deep breath. I gather my surroundings and I lift my legs up and I swing them to the side gently, hitting Blaze a little bit. He doesn't react. I go and try to wake up Silver  to wake up. They still just hang their with their eyes closed. I close mine, knowing I won't get any sleep, but I wait.

I hear a little noise come out of Blazes lips. I quickly open my eyes and look at Blaze.
"Blaze...are you awake?" I say. I see Blaze slowly open his eyes and they widen as he look at me and silver.

"W-what happened?" Blaze asked just above a whisper.

"Emily...you guys were already here when Emily showed me where she put you guys."

"Im gonna rip her heart out." He says as he grits his teeth.

"Its not about that. We need to make sure we make it out....alive."
A noise interrupts us as I notice that it's Silver waking up. She winces in pain as she shifts her weight and opens her mouth when she sees me but no words come out. I explain everything to her before she can say anything else.
I soon finished explaining.
"What are we going to do?" Silver says

"I...I don't know yet. We are going to try to find a way out of these ropes and make Emily pass out... something to give us time." I say.

Just then Emily walks in the room.
"Speak of the devil." I mumble.

"Look what we have here!" Emily says a little too loud. "It's fantastic that all of you are awake! Let's get started!"

I feel a lump rise in my throat as I see Emily holding a blade. She starts walking towards me with a grin on her face. She is just inches away from me as she hold up the knife and digs it into my stomach.
"No!" I hear Blaze yell and Silver following.
Pain spreads through my body as I scream. I feel blood dripping down and on my clothes. I've never felt anything like this. I watch her pull the knife out my stomach. I scream even more. The knife is covered in deep red. My face is covered in tears as everything is throbbing. I want to collapse and roll into a ball but all I can do is hang from the ceiling in shock. I feel my vision getting blurry as my stomach is the only thing I feel. I've passed out so many times. I don't want to do it again. The last thing I hear is Blaze yelling as he punches Emily. I let my eyes close. I've never deserved a life. Why cheat death? I let the darkness seep in.

Silvers P.O.V

I scream as I see Galaxy being stabbed in front of me and I can't do anything about it. I want to hold her, make her feel safe. I see Emily with a even wider grin as she pulls the knife out of her stomach with Galaxy's scream filling the air. A swift movement kicks Emily in the face as I realize it's Blaze. The knife is right at his feet. He trys to pick up the knife with his feet. He grunt's as he does. Finally he gets it out to his knees and he curls it to his chest and grabs the knife in his hand. In swift movements he's able to cut off the rope. I look over to Galaxy and I see her eyes close.
"No...." I whisper
Blaze falls to the ground with a loud grunt.
"Don't give up yet. Theirs still a chance for her." He says as he comes to me and starts using the knife to cut off my ropes.

"No! Help Galaxy first. She needs it more." I beg.
He doesn't argue and moves to Galaxy and gets her down and lays her down on a safe spot. And comes back to me removing the ropes. I feel the ropes loosen and I'm able to bring my arms down. I look at my wrists as I see they are covered in red feels like fire burning my arms. I look over to see Blaze picking Emily up and before I can do anything, he stabs her in the chest, I look away and  a shiver go up my spine as Emily falls down. The girl who I once called a friend. One of the nicest people I've known is gone. Dead.
