Chapter 12

*From previous chapter*

OH GOD THE STRANGER KNOCKED ON THE DOOR RED ALERT RUN FOR YOUR LIFE- I mean.... *cough cough* A person I don't know is knocking on the door, maybe I should just wait this out. *nervous laugh*

*Shizuku's POV*

I'm actually really nervous right now. This person has been knocking on my door for three hours straight and ringing my doorbell like there life depended on it. To put it in simpler terms...

I'M FUCKING GOING INSANE RIGHT NOW. IT'S ALMOST 11 PM THEY NEED TO GET A LIFE.

Maybe I should just open the fucking door and see what happens? Maybe they wanna kidnap me... Yeah I'm not gonna take any chances so I'll just wait this one out I guess. 

This is gonna be a long one since I don't sleep that much. I only have so much patience man. 

*An hour later of constant door ringing*

Fuck this. I'm opening it. I don't even fucking care anymore if i get kidnapped at this point in life. As long as the stupid door bell stops ringing I'll be fine. Maybe if I kill them it'll put me at ease.

Walking to the door slowly, I looked into the peep hole only to see a little boy shivering in the cold... WHAT THE HELL IS THIS LITTLE ASS KID DOING HERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

Slamming open the door suddenly, the little kid sprang up in surprise and looked at me in fear. "Who the hell are you?" I said bluntly. The little boy looked at me timidly and stuttered his answer. "I-I'm your little brother Rin..."

What.

"How old are you?" I crossed my arms and glared at the boy. He flinched slightly and looked to the side. "six.."

Well shit, he might be my brother. "Wait, do you even know my name??" He looked up quickly and answered. "Shizuka, of coarse!" I shook my head and smirked. "Wrong answer, it's Shizuku now." Why am I such an asshole?

He looked shocked but quickly covered it up.

I fucking knew it.

It is my brother... 

Mother and father really changed him that much in the past 6 years didn't they? I mean, he IS six years old but they turned him into a puppet.. 

"The government changed my first name and last name so they wouldn't find me." I smirked and leaned down to his height. "So how exactly did you find me? Mother and father couldn't find me for the past six years." A sudden thought came to my head and I smirked even more.

"Can you tell me what your quirk is exactly?"

Everything is going to place. How the hell is this going so smoothly? Holy shit I should be a detective or something.

Back to the investigation.

I stared at him, waiting for an answer. He gulped nervously and looked away. "I-I don't have a quirk-" I clicked my tongue in annoyance. "Cut the bullshit and tell the truth." Wow I am truly an asshole. Or maybe just salty either way. I know he's lying and I don't really like liars as a first impression. Especially when I first meet my little brother.

He flinched again and turned red..

What the hell.....

I sigh slightly and look away while muttering an apology to him. Looking back slightly I can see a smile of appreciation on his face which makes me sigh in relief. I was also making a bad impression on him as well wasn't I? Let's try to settle things out and see why exactly he's trying to lie about not having a quirk.

Maybe he has a similar quirk as me and told mother and father... Yea, that could be the reason why he's here. They probably don't believe I don't have a quirk anymore now that their second child has a quirk. They didn't know if I had a quirk or not because they couldn't just arrange an appointment for me and see. They're fucking criminals on the loose so they can never do that.

Now that I think about it. I was non-existent for half of my life. If I ever died at that time no one would have known at all. No one ever had documents of me when I was born or anything. Shit, I don't even know when my own birthday is. They never told me.

Rin looked down and fiddled with his shirt. 

"Mom and dad wanted me to come and bring you back home... I'm not aloud to come back until I do so." He looked up at me innocently and started tearing up. With a small sniffle he then looked up at me with hopeful eyes; waiting for an answer.

Silence.

He looked away slightly and looked down. A small grin formed on his face and he scoffed.  "C-Can nii-san help rin please?"

Authors note- I don't really have an excuse for not updating for so long.... I had most of this chapter written out but I didn't know what to write at all.... I hope you guys can forgive me if you guys still waited for this chapter. Probably not but I'll try to update some more.

Oh, and I bet you guys didn't even realized I changed her name through out the chapters didn't you? lol
