Chapter 4:

Hailey's POV
I hadn't realized I was crying until I felt water splash onto my arm. I wiped
my eyes and looked up at Tess and Gianna. As I was telling the story, I didn't realize my family had walked into the room. They were all crying, so I tried to brighten the mood.

"Mom! Dad! Alex! I missed you! Wow Alex you look so much older now. Do you have a girlfriend yet?! Can I meet her?!!" I exclaimed to my family excitedly.

I saw them smile through their tears as they ran over to hug me. They told
me that if I was feeling better, I could go home today. I was so excited I literally jumped off the bed, until I realized I had to change out of the hospital gown before I did any jumping.

************

As we walked into the house, I started running around and feeling everything
in the house. The last place I went was my room. I jumped on my bed and buried my face into my pillow. I missed my home so much, words could not describe how happy I was to be back.

************

The rest of the week was spent relaxing. I decided I would go back to college
with Tess and Gianna at the end of the week, so my mom just enrolled me. I am excited, yet worried. What will they think of me? Will I be bullied? Will they hate me? Like me? I hoped they liked me for who I was, not my story.

Tess's POV
We just drove back to the campus with Hailey. Gianna and I are going to be showing her around before our classes. She is going to room with us, and we have all of our classes together!

As we walked around the campus, we came to a halt to get drinks at
Starbucks. I mean, where else would we go? After ordering our drinks, we kept walking. We were then stopped by a group of jocks, oh boy.

"Hey," said the leader of the group, sending a wink my way. I rolled my eyes
and laughed, ignoring him.

"Hi!" Hailey said in a fake annoying, way to peppy, voice. Gianna and I had
to hold in our laughter.

"I haven't seen you around campus before. Trust me, I would remember a face
that attractive," he said to us and his friends. They mumbled agreements while laughing.

"Really? Well that's because I'm new, so how about you get the fuck away from me
so my friends and I can continue walking
!" She said, peppy, then normally, and very seriously. I couldn't hold in my laughs anymore as he looked at her, shocked.

"Byeeee!" She said in a fake tone again, before blowing him a kiss and pulling us away.

"Ugh! Are all the guys like that?! Because if they are, I will slap every boy I
pass," Hailey said to me.

I was beyond happy that I had her back again, and my heart, along with
Gianna's, was whole again.
