Hi I'm Mariya Cassandra Woods. I've been 17 for 314 years now. Wondering why? It's because I'm a vampire. And yes vampires do exist.Before all this I never thought creatures of the dark did really walk the earth..

*FLASHBACK 1699*

I was a simple town girl who lived outskirts of our own town.
I have a sister who I cherish the most. Mariya Cataleya Woods. I've looked up to her since we were young, she's an incredible role model. She's a bit childish and sassy in a way.

We know each other like the palm of our hands. We tell each other everything.

My parents are farmers. We have crops and animals. I and Cataleya help take care of them.
My parents often travel to sell our crops and animals. So we were always left home alone, making us incredibly close.

Our lives were peaceful and great. Yes we weren't rich but we had enough food on our table everyday.

But 'one' dreadful night changes it all.

"Mama? Where on earth is Cataleya?" I yelled at my mother. Elissana Woods.

She's very caring and sweet but I and Cataleya aren't close with her. And I could say the same with our father. Hector Woods.

"She's gone out to look for wood honey" she replied.

Marching my way out of our small cottage rumbling about how Cataleya left without finishing her chores. My heart dropped when I saw the image of my sister.

"W-what the? CATALEYA!" I screamed terrified watching my own sister. Worry and fear was evident in my tone.

She was dripping in blood, her clothes were torn, blood all over her neck and arms. She was shaking and it was obviously due to fear. What happened to her?

I rushed at her aid. I grabbed her arms and looked at her face, she was in total shock.

"Cataleya? Cataleya? What on bloody hell happened to you?!"

She didn't answer me, her face looked like she saw a ghost and then she collapsed. I grabbed her arm and placed it around my neck. Carrying her, I noticed two awful bite marks on her neck.

Was she attacked by an animal?

A few moments pasted and she woke up.

"Cataleya? Are you ok? You lost a lot of blood, you should rest" I informed her.

She began being antsy, fidgeting, passing back and forth.
"Sister! We have to leave! We must leave this house!".
What was going on? I tried calming her down but it didn't work.

"Mama!! Papa!!" She calls running her hands through her hair intensely.
My mother came to her aid and maid her calm down.

The next events were un-explainable.
